Lydia's POV

When I told the head teacher about what happened, she told me to stay in her office.

So now I am sitting in the most comfortable chair in the school and waiting for her to return from getting someone to get Ryan. She told me this will be sorted immediately and he will be getting a punishment because it is unacceptable and she cares deeply about all of this.

I look at how each brick lines up with the other on the wall while I wait, the tears rise to the rim of my eyes once again but I blink a few times until they disappear.

"Lydia, please come this way." She tells me from the door and I nod, I get my bag and head to the door. She leads me into a separate office where Ryan is sitting. He looks guilty.

I take a seat on the opposite side of the room and he avoided my eyes. There's two other teachers in here who I haven't seen before.

"We have heard about your past relationship, it wasn't very good, has this happened before?" The head teacher asks and Ryan shakes his head, "So why did you do it now?"

"I was pissed off because of her, she deserved it." He shrugged and I take a deep breath.

"That gives to night to hurt her though Ryan, what makes you think this is acceptable?" Mrs Reyes (The head teacher) questioned and he shrugged.

"She's a bitch. She was literally the reason of all of this, she shouldn't have dumped me or none of this would have happened." He says, looking directly at me.

The teachers whisper things and we don't speak, he looked at me and he was so pissed off I didn't know what to do. I was terrified, he looks like he is going to jump from his chair and try murder me, luckily there's teachers and CCTV.

"Lydia, you can go to break now, Ryan we are calling home and you are excluded for two weeks." Mrs Reyes says and I nod and leave the office.

I go straight to the library and the tears fall quickly.

When I walk through the doors, Rea saw me and she ran over and looked at me worriedly.

"What's wrong? Shit, where were you? Are you okay? What happened?" She asks me, she spoke quickly.

"Girl ,stop asking questions." Luca groaned from behind.

"Piss off." She looks at him and then walks me over to where I usually sit and I look at her.

"Ryan is getting excluded for two weeks." I whisper and she looks at me confused, "Something happened, I won't say anything but he's getting excluded."

"That fucking bastard." She mutters and stands up but I grab her hand, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

She sits down and I lean into her and she hugs me.

"I want to go home." I whisper and she hummed and pulled away to look at me. She sues her thumb to wipe away the tears on my cheek and I close my eyes, "Can we stay here?"

"I can ask if that's what you want." She says and I shrug, "I failed to protect you didn't I?"

"Rea, shut up you didn't I didn't even see it coming." I sigh and she looks at me, she looked disappointed, "Don't even dare blame yourself for this."

"I should have followed you out, I should ave searched for you!" She says and I shake my head, she didn't think about it, she kissed me.

She kissed me quick and I know she wanted to do it but I also know she didn't want anyone to see, so she pulled away just as quick.

"Talk to me, talk to me please." She whispers and I nod, she watches me carefully while waiting for me to speak, "I can tell your dad that you want to go home."

"Rea, just stop, stop everything. Take a deep breath and calm yourself." I say because she's panicking, she is angry, she is worried and I feel terrible.

She does as I say, she took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a few moments before opening them again and looking at me.

"Are you okay?" She asks as she smiled at me and I smile back at her before nodding, "That's good, that's really good."

"Are you wanting me to ask your father if you can go home?" She asks and I shake my head and she nods, "Do you want to skip next lesson with me?"

"What lesson is it?" I ask and she chuckled.

"Pe." She answered and I nod, "You didn't bring your kit did you?"

"Shut up they don't need to know." I laugh and she laughs and we both stand up as lunch was almost over, "Music room?"

"Music room." She agreed and I nod as I put my hands in my pockets and we head over to the exit, "Holy shit."

"What is it?" I ask as I look over my shoulder at her.

"Nothing, you are just stunning." She grinned and I feel my face heat up so I quickly head down the corridor with her behind me.
