Lydia's POV

Time is a frustrating thing. It's been a week and still nothing apart from her looking at me a few times but we haven't spoke or anything.

I am back at a football game, sitting at the front in a hoodie that is way too big for me but it's comfortable.

Ryan is a lot nicer to me and I don't know what to think about it, he is smiling at me during the day, he's offering me ride homes and rides to school, he really wants me back and it's annoying me slowly.

My arms are crossed against my chest, it's half time and the boys are speaking to their girlfriends or something. Ryan and Luca are coming over to me, I'm watching them walk but I really want a hot dog right now.

"Heyy!" Luca grinned and pulled me into his arms, I just groan, "You have been in a mood all week, what is wrong?"

"Nothing, I want a hot dog." I shrug and he scoffed and the two sat down beside me, "How's the game going? I'm not paying attention."

"We are winning." Ryan replied and I hummed.

We sit and talk until they have to go back and make a plan for the next half. I got myself a hotdog which boosted my moods.

Someone walks up from behind me and sat down beside me, I look and she's there. Her hair tied in a loose ponytail, a jacket and a jumper with jeans on.

"You and I need to talk." She whispered and I agree and she looks at me, "I haven't slept in a week so come on."

"There's a game playing and I'm watching it, we can talk after." I stop her from getting up and she sighs.

We sit in silence, she took some of my hotdog which I wasn't pleased about but I can't complain.

We scored another goal, I bite into the hotdog until I finished. I stand up and go back down to the bin and putting the tissue inside, when I turn I see a girl on her, I roll my eyes and walk back over.

"Piss off." I groan and she quickly left, Rea chuckled.

"I thought you hated me since you didn't reply to any of my messages." She questioned and I cross my arms against my chest.

"Shut up, please just be quiet." I whisper and she whispers an apology and I feel her eyes on me. They were burning into my brain and it was driving me crazy, "Do me a favour and get me another hotdog, will you?"

She stood up and went over to the hotdog stand.

I watch the game as I calm myself down, I have missed her terribly and she hasn't slept in a week and I am sure she's spammed my phone, I got a new phone anyway.

It didn't take long for her to return with hot chocolate and the hot dogs. She sat down and gave me them, she ate her own and au tear off some of the bread.

"We haven't talked in a week, that's not good Lyds." She whispered and I close my eyes and take a deep breath before looking at her.

"Let the game finish and we can talk, I will tell you everything." I say and she sighed.

"Fine." She looked over to the game and I do the same, "I did come all the way from home where I was curled up on the sofa, just to see you."

"I'm going to throw this drink at you in a minute if you don't shut up." I groan and she chuckled which made my heart quicken, "Sorry, I'm very annoyed."

"Hmm, I can tell." She laughs and I roll my eyes as I feel myself smile but I quickly stop myself, "I will act like I didn't see that."

I eat the hotdog again and we watch the game silently, we somehow managed to do another half an hour doing small conversations and she laughed randomly. I realised in those thirty minutes how much life changes when she's around, how much I change, I realise how much I have missed her.

The game ends, we won again and I stand up and finish my drink before she took them down to the bin, the team left the pitch and Luca and Ryan returned like usual.

He smiled at his sister who rolled her eyes and the three came up and sat down.

"I am going to stop coming to these games it's too cold, I'll return when the sun is out." I sigh and Luca laughs and hugged me tightly.

"So what are you doing here?" Ryan asked his sister who responded with a shrug, "Coming to see Lydia? I thought you fucked things up? I thought you broke up, I mean you did mess it all up last week so I wouldn't be surprised."

And there goes Rea, she punched her brother who laughed.

"I swear to god I want to murder you at times." She mutters and I smile.

"Rea calm down, he was just kidding." Luca walks over to her but she shrugged and sat down, "Just take deep breaths."

"I'll slap you in a minute if you don't piss off." She whispers causing him to walk away.

We all talk for the remaining ten minutes since they decided to leave early. Rea was already leaving so I followed her out of the place and she walked to her car.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry for everything like fuck I need you right now, I need you every day because I don't know what I am doing not talking to you. I'm sorry for walking away, I'm sorry for changing conversation, please, just please don't leave." She had tears in her eyes when she turned to look at me and I pull her into my arms.

"I am so sorry I never said it back, I haven't felt like this way for anyone before and it's a new feelings. So hearing you say that you love me, and us actually being something more than the others, you being someone so much more than I thought you would be. Just hearing you say that took me by surprise, I didn't know what to say, I am so sorry. I can't say it, not just yet." She was crying and my heart broke in my chest as I wiped her tears.

"You can take your time Rea, take all the time you need and I apologise for it all. I forgive you though, I will always forgive you for everything you do, I'm not letting you go, not now, not ever. I'm always going to be here, I am sorry for putting the distance between us." I whisper back and wipe her tears from her cheeks.

"The letter, I read it and I was feeling so many things I cried, I stayed up all week reading it because it made me feel loved. You love me Lyds, you love me and you mean it when you say it, it's a shock but it's true. I am sorry for not stopping you when you left." She was crying once again and I smile and she smiles back.

"Of course I love you, how could I not?" I laugh and she laughs and I wipe the tears again, "Can I kiss you? Please I've been wanting to since I first saw you here."

She nods and I kiss her, the tears mixed with the taste of watermelon from her lips. Her arms wrap around my waist as she pulled me closer, she spun us around so I was against the car door, one of her arms going up into my hair and tangling as she pulled my face closer to hers and my own arms wrapping around her neck.

"Oh my gosh!" Someone gasped but she didn't pull away, she ignored them and she kissed me. I was her only focus, she didn't want anyone else to have her attention, just me.

I pull away and she looked at me, her eyes search mine and I take a deep breath.

"The whole school knows you just kissed me." I whisper and she scoffed before looking at everyone.

"Piss off, you haven't seen girls kiss before? Fuck off!" She shouts and people quickly leave and then she looked back at me and smiled.

"I'm all yours, love. All yours just like before, I have always been yours you just never knew."
