After the party, Ao'nung got in big trouble. Mainly by his mommy.

"What were you thinking?" She asked hissing at him, Ao'nung looked to the floor his ears back.

"I didn't know it was a problem mother." He simply said, lifting his head to look over at her. Reya was in the corner concerned for her brother. She was about to speak before her mother pointed a finger at her shaking her head.

"It's bad enough one of my children fancy one of them, but I don't need too. You are the next chief. Start acting like it. You will find a mate, that is a part of our village. Our clan." She said Ao'nung was stubborn they all knew that. He was just like his mother, they were an exact copy and paste of one another.

He stayed silent, not looking at her anymore. That's not what he wanted. Not what he planned.

"Do you hear me? Or do I need to repeat myself?" She said pulling on his ear to make him look at her. He only rolled his eyes and nodded.

"Yeah, I heard you."

"Good, you're not allowed to see them for a while, your sister will finish off their lessons. You will be preparing for your role in this clan, along with mingling with other women." Ao'nung didn't like that. He had a pretty noticeable stern look on his face, his ears going back once more. His mother left, his father following after he puts a hand on his shoulder giving him a reassuring smile before leaving.

Since the party, Ao'nung has been somewhat distant. It might have to do with the fact that he's training to be a great leader. But besides that, Reya has been very helpful when it came to teaching you all. She secretly loved going out into the water with you and Kiri the most, considering you guys were experts at that point.

You haven't seen Ao'nung in about two weeks. It made you sad and felt alone. You two had grown very close together. He said he's shown you things he's never shown to anyone before. But without him, you felt you were missing something.

Today, Reya was taking you guys to Metkayina's great mother. This was very exciting, and Kiri was over the moon about it. She loved Eywa like no other and had such a special connection with her.

"Is Ao'nung coming?" You asked Reya, making her turn and look at you, She simply said no, but before she turned around she saw your ears drop back, you looking a little disappointed.

"It is ok [Y/N].' She paused before continuing. "He is, just busy. Clan stuff you know." She said, as you looked up at her with a smile and nodded. You shouldn't have even asked. Roxto came over and gave you his hand to take. You gave him a 'really?' look before walking off leaving the boy alone, he let out a groan before walking towards the group.

Reya said it was best to go to the eclipse. Soon the sun was slowly starting to go away. You guys made it to the tree of souls. Well, not a tree, but whatever the Metkayina's called it. You all dove down, connecting to it taking in Eywa.

You opened your eye, seeing a home on the Metkayina's beach. You walked into it, you smiled seeing Ao'nung. He was sitting in the home, he had a song cord in his hand and the other...a baby. You smiled going closer. He was singing softly to the baby, looking over, you saw the baby had big blue eyes, just like Ao'nung, and curly hair, but the thing that surprised you was how dark the skin tone was. It wasn't as dark as yours but it wasn't teal like Ao'nung.

What was Eywa trying to show you? You wanted to know more but were pulled out of your thoughts when Kiri started to have a seizure.

You rushed over to her and so did everyone else. Bringing her to the surface. Neteyam gave her mouth-to-mouth making her breathe once more but not wake up. They rode back to the village as fast as they could.
