Memory -
"Lo'ak come on, come on!" You said pulling at him, he let out a grown, before letting out a sigh. It was both of your 18th birthdays today. Na'vi's did not celebrate birthdays much, but father made sure his children would get a very special 18th, becoming an adult birthday. Well it is related to human culture more than anything.
But the clan didn't mind it, they loved celebration, and it's what Toruk Makto wanted. You smiled and looked at your twin brother, him smiling as well. He had paint on his face, so did you. You both had the same pattern from your face down to your legs. It was colors like white, black, and teal.
Not only that you both were dressed up in ceremonial clothing. You had on this beautiful top, it connected around your neck with a leather band. Another leather band going down the front of your torso, connecting to another band that wrapped around you just below your rib cage. You had beautiful bright colored feathers covering your chest. You also had these sleeves on your arms with long fibers coming off them, (Like what Neytiri had on, in that deleted dance scene.)
Lo'ak had on a cummerbund (That's what the band they wear below their ribs are called.) An arm band, and his knife across his chest, along with a thicker necklace that matched yours around his neck. Your twin also had long fibers handing off his arms as well.
With hand in hand you both walked into the party, with big smiles. You both met with your family, your mother giving each of you a reassuring arm grab. Mo'at coming over and giving her grandchildren a hug.
"We must dance!" You said, Lo'ak giving you a worried look. Lo'ak wasn't as good of a dancer as you were. But he still loved doing it in the end. You and him smiled, pulling him into the group of Na'vi.
You really were captivating when it came to your dancing. You always had the biggest smile and your moves were so flawless. You definitely got that from your mother.
You danced with your brother, both of you doing the routine, you of course doing it better, making Lo'ak annoyed, so he gave you a light shove in the dance, making you give him a 'no you didn't' face. He only smirked at you.
You let out a low hiss at him before smiling once more. You guys were basically talking to another without even moving your mouths. It was like a twin thing really. So connected. Sometimes that would annoy your siblings or even your parents. You two were always thinking about something.
Tuk, and Neteyam came out to dance as well. Kiri was never big on things like this and most of the time stayed with your parents, or Mo'at. Neteyam and Tuk were probably the worst dancers out of all you guys.
They both would just laugh until they couldn't breath and jump around together. No matter how long they practiced the dance, it would never ever come out as practiced. You and Lo'ak connected hands, spinning around throwing stupid remarks at another and laughing.
You then did your secret handshake that was so fast that no one could even tell what it was. The four siblings came together continuing the dance.
"Ah my baby sister and brother are all grown up, how does it feel?" Neteyam asked flashing them a grin holding Tuks hands and jumping around in a circle with her.
"I feel the same as I did yesterday, and when I was born, annoyed that another little pest came out with me. Still remember that ugly mug face of yours like it was yesterday." Lo'ak said, you pulled his ear making him wince.
"Yeah, last time I checked I didn't come out looking like an egg head. You're lucky you grew into yourself, you idiot." You said, making him pull your ear. You threw your hands towards him like you were gonna scratch him making him pull his head back and smile.
