You had gone and walked along the beach, Kiri, made her way to come to find you. She didn't want you to be alone, afraid you might leave like your brother.

She ran over to you, placing a hand on your shoulder. You turned to look at her, your ears going back before you let out tears. She embraced you in a hug.

"Mother was wrong, I am a terrible mother." You stated Kiri's heartbreaking. She brushed her hands through your hair, shaking her head.
"It is not your fault, and mother is not wrong. Your kids are healthy, safe, and very smart. I think they should have an open mind about land and sea. Just because we're stuck here doesn't mean we can't have some things that we used to have." She said, lifting her head and looking at you. She smiled at you, you returned it.

"Can we go for a fly then?" You asked, Kiri's ears falling back once more. She knew flying was your way to cope. She didn't blame you, it could be relaxing at times. But you didn't know your Ikran didn't make it. Ao'nung had no reason to show you or tell you. He didn't understand the connection. Kiri told you what had happened.

Making it to the shore, where your life lease Ikran sat. you kneeled and tears left your eyes, crying.

"Oh, Zuonsu." You whispered, putting a hand up to your mouth, the other lightly petting his head.
"He is with Eywa now, he will be safe," Kiri said, coming down to kneel next to you.

"Why hadn't anyone told me?" You said turning towards Kiri, she had an ashamed look on her face before it changed into a reassuring smile.
"You had enough to worry about at the moment." That is all she said.

"We had many adventures together." You said making Kiri smile.

"And that is good, Zuonsu was very old for his age, he lived longer than he was supposed to. He was not a baby when you tamed him. That's probably why the strike impacted him so much." Kiri said, making you nod. He is with the great mother now. She would keep him safe, and protect all the memories ever to be shared.

Memory

"How will I know which one is mine?" You asked your mother, ears going back, looking up at her. Neytiri smiled at her child, kissing her on her forehead.

"It will try to kill you." That is what she said. She didn't want her kids to fear so she told them the blunt truth about everything Pandora had to offer.

You were only about 13 at the time, you and Lo'ak looked at one another, he looked worried. You remembered what had happened, he almost died, having a hard time controlling the Ikran. He got knocked off a cliff and fell many feet. You didn't try that day due to Jake saying no.

"Ladies first," Lo'ak said with a smile, gesturing for you to go. You rolled your eyes at him.
"Wuss." You said, Jake giving you a 'Hey', You walked out ears bowed back looking at the Ikrans.

Many would move back and hiss at you.
"Stop cowering, you need to face them!" Neytiri said, you let out a shaky sigh before getting your Ikran catcher ready. Walking further into the Ikran's home, one dived and landed right in front of you. It was much bigger than the ones you thought might want you, but instead, you prepared yourself.

Letting out a hiss at it, it did it right back, lunging toward you. Letting out a yell, you moved out of the way. You leaped and jumped onto its back. The Ikran rolled around trying to get you, moving closer and closer to the edge. Jake took a step forward along with Neteyam, Neytiri stopping both of them.

You tackled the Ikran, grabbing your braid, and making the bond. Your eyes dilated, and you looked at the breath of the Ikran doing the same. Lo'ak ran over to you with joy, You sat upon your Ikran, smiling.

"Go sister, complete the bond." He gestured for you to take flight. You thought about flight and the Ikran took off leaving nothing but your screams to be heard.
