Yoongi was lying on his bed, staring at the stars that were visible from the glass ceiling of his bedroom. Slow and soft music was playing in the background. His train of thoughts ran on a track to somewhere he couldn't control. He should be sleeping because he has a lot of work to do since he will be alone for a whole month. Jin won't be there in the office to take care of the things he does every day, making Yoongi's work easy and simple.
He should arrange everything by himself and get hold of the things he needs to know, about their meetings and other important things. He has a lot to take care of and he doesn't know how he'd manage them without Jin's help.
He missed Jin already. Sure, he is the one who sent him on trips to have a memorable honeymoon with his husband, but he doesn't know where all the confidence of, 'I can take care of everything' went. He assured Jin saying, he could handle things and besides it would be only for a month.
Now thinking about it, a month is longer than he could handle. A month! A MONTH?
It's too long and he is so fucked. He should rest now because he is going to have a long ass day, tomorrow, and twice as much he has to work.
But nothing of this bothered him because he wasn't thinking of any of these. The only thoughts he has in his mind are about a certain redhead male he saw at the wedding. He is invading Yoongi's mind and he can't get a wink.
It's past midnight and he is still awake, thinking of that one bright smile and the melodious laugh which were replaying in his mind all the time. Was he really that attached to him? What was it that Yoongi found so attractive about the redhead?
He couldn't tell himself. He kept thinking about that boy so much that he started to forget how he looked. I wonder why it's becoming hard to picture his face and if he is remembering him right or not.
It's like he can see the smile perfectly for a second and in the following second his features start to fade. His mind is tricking him and he is losing even though how desperately he is trying to remember him correctly.
Has he fallen that hard, it's tiring him to put a picture together? Was this even something that can be relatively called, falling? He doesn't know, but all the signs are there. The signs and symptoms he heard.
The moment he saw the strawberry head, he felt this weird feeling in the pits of his stomach. As if something ruffling inside, as if something finally broke out of its cage and started creating a ruckus. He never felt it before, but it matched the feeling people expressed as falling in love, fluttering butterflies and racing hearts.
It all occurred upon seeing the strawberry head and he didn't know what more to expect other than the feeling of falling in love. But he doesn't want to get ahead of himself. So he decided to talk to him first.
If the feeling he has in his heart is really what he is thinking, then he will be the happiest person to finally find someone. He didn't want to rush things and he didn't want some gold digger in his life. He has had enough of such people.
He wants to be fair to Strawberry as well which is why he asked Jin to get only his name and number. No other details about the boy because he wanted to know what he felt about Strawberry or what Strawberry felt about him. He wanted to see if this could work.
He is getting into this and he has no idea how it's going to end, but he has a really good feeling about this strawberry head and that's for sure. He could only wait till he gets a hold of his number and the rest will go with the flow of his fate.
He sighed as he got up from his bed and slipped into his slides. He lazily walked out of his room, going straight to his private bar on the ground floor of his house. Maybe he should knock himself out to sleep.
