Yoongi reached his company and stopped in front of the building as one of the security took his car to park it inside the cellar. He dashed into the building and hastily nodded to the people at the reception desk who were bowing to him in greeting. He entered the elevator, pressing the button to his floor.
He quickly walked to his office after getting off the elevator and closed the door, as well as the blinds as he took out his phone to see, nothing. No calls or messages, yet. He frowned a little disappointed and plopped down in his chair, heaving a deep sigh. He ran his fingers through his hair and sat straight when he heard someone knocking at the door.
"Come in," he muttered as he quickly changed into his professional side with a straight face. He waited for the person to enter as he picked up some files on his desk and started going through papers piled in one of the files.
"Min" he heard the person call and lifted his head to look at the male with orange hair standing in front of the closed door. A small gasp left Yoongi's lips with surprise evident in his tone and face. He quickly got up from his seat.
"Kihyun?" he walked to the male who had a wide smile on his face, hands extended for Yoongi. Yoongi pushed his hands away and kicked him in the shins, making the male fall to the floor. He kicked in his guts and the male groaned, trying to stop Yoongi by holding his foot.
"The fuck, Yoon?" He groaned, looking up at the male with a frown on his face. Yoongi scoffed as he stretched his hand for him to take and Kihyun took it, grumbling something that Yoongi didn't understand.
"Why the fuck are you here, you fucking bas-" Yoongi didn't get to finish his words when his phone rang. He ignored it for a second and turned back to the male who was now standing up with his support. Yoongi pulled him up and the phone started ringing again. He left Kihyun's hand for a moment to get his phone that wouldn't stop buzzing on his desk. It's Jin.
He now understood what was happening and picked up in an instant to threaten Jin about how he would kill him and bury his ass for being a stupid bitch. Sadly, he is a second late for doing that and the elder already started talking as if he was waiting to speak with words hanging at the edge of his tongue.
"I know, I know. The first thing you are going to do is, fucking kick my ass to Mars when you see me. I get it." Jin's voice dripped sarcasm and Yoongi rolled his eyes even though Jin couldn't see it.
"Why the fuck is this brat here?"
"Yoongs, chill! Don't act like you aren't happy to see him and don't be a grumpy cat now, be grateful. He is there to help you in place of me. Now, put me on speaker." He ordered and Yoongi did, groaning at what was going to come next from his best friend's mouth.
"Kihyun, he's a dork. You know that right? He still loves you but is being petty to say that he does. Don't mind his attitude, he'll come around." Kihyun smiled brightly at that and blew a flying kiss at Yoongi, who scrunched his nose in pure disgust.
"Hearing this from you makes me feel a lot better, Jin. Don't worry, I'll take care of my lovely but pig-headed cousin." He heard Jin laugh at the other end and Yoongi turned back to his desk, facing away from his so-called dumbshit cousin. The tiniest curve pulled at the edge of his lips.
He is glad to see Kihyun again, so fucking happy in fact, but Kihyun doesn't have to know. After ignoring him for months and months, he hurt Yoongi. Yoongi sulked to Jin about how his favorite cousin won't visit him anymore because of his fucking business.
Kihyun talked to Jin for another few minutes, mostly listening to Jin explaining the work and guiding him on how to arrange and provide everything for Yoongi on time.
