After returning from the printing room, Yoongi asked Kihyun to pick up his copy and go through what they had to deal with in today's meeting. Kihyun eyed him for a minute before continuing what he was supposed to do. He sat in front of Yoongi, ignoring the way Yoongi bore holes into his skull.
After going through all the details in the papers given to him, Kihyun was ready to attend the meeting along with his cousin. Yoongi got up from his desk when he saw it was time for his foreign clients to reach his company. He quickly put his coat on and nodded in Kihyun's direction as he walked to his office door, his cousin following right behind his boss.
They waited in the lounge in front of the lift on Yoongi's office floor, waiting for the guests to arrive. Kihyun got up immediately when he heard the elevator's door chime upon opening, revealing three white people, clad in formal suits. They smiled when they saw Yoongi walking up to them wearing a grin on his face.
"Hey, Yongey!" one of the three called out, opening his arms and arching his back a little as he eyed Yoongi from head to toe for a moment. Yoongi shook his head chuckling at the man who could never pronounce his name right for once. He frowned a little when Mark, his friend leaned back as he looked at him with amused eyes.
"What is it?" Yoongi questioned sounding a little out of the accent he used when he speaks Korean. Speaking English was never easy, and he learned it the hard way. Mark stood straight again, grinning at the shorter male in front of him. The blonde woman beside him chuckled as well, seemingly understanding why her husband was eyeing the way he did.
"You seemed to grow a little taller than the last time I saw you." Mark looked back at his wife, Sofie, "isn't he?" he questioned and Sofie smiled softly as she nodded her head along. Yoongi rolled his eyes, playfully nudging Mark as the man laughed throwing his head back. "Come here, little man!" He said, pulling Yoongi into a warm hug.
"Hi, Amy!" Yoongi smiled at the girl beside Sofie who came forward to hug him as the male pulled back from the bone-crushing hug of the old man. Amy and Yoongi did their signature handshake, fist bumping and pulling each other in for a warm hug, laughing after.
"Amy was excited to meet you and she couldn't sit still through the whole journey until we reached your office." Sofie heaved a sigh, remembering how hyper-excited her daughter was through their journey that it gave them a headache. Amy rolled her eyes as she waved her mother off, Yoongi chuckling at the girl.
"It's not like you were any less excited to meet your little boy!" her husband remarked, coming beside her and kissing her cheek softly. Sofie laughed, hitting her husband's chest and looking back at her favorite boy who seemed to grow up a lot in the past fourteen months. She missed him too.
"I'm happy to see you guys too." Yoongi grinned wide, his gummies on full display as his cheeks rose causing his eyes to turn into crescent moons. Sofie cooed at the cute sight of the younger, taking those few steps forward to hug the boy in her motherly warmth. She loved him like her son.
"Alright, we can move if your affectionate session is over." Mark teased as the duo looked back at him with raised eyebrows. He immediately raised his hands in defense once his daughter joined them and glared at her father. "O-okay, take your time. I guess." He said quickly, knowing better not to trigger his daughter and wife when it came to Yongey. He wondered if they loved Yongey more than him.
Kihyun smiled, looking at the scene in front of him. If there is someone in Yoongi's life whom he loves like his own family, it's them. The Robinsons. They loved Yoongi and treated him like he was family. Especially, Amy Robinson. Though the girl couldn't speak and express everything, her actions spoke louder. She loves Yoongi more like a brother and looks up to him.
