Yoongi doesn't know the feeling of falling in love, he has never been in love before. That doesn't mean he is against the idea of falling in love, he was just too busy to find someone, and he never felt that magic in his heart on seeing any person. It's just, it wasn't his time. For now, he is happy for his best friend.
"Thank you, Yoongs." Jin hugged his best friend and Yoongi smiled hugging back. He wished both males the best marriage life ahead, Namjoon thanked him, shaking his hands.
"You didn't get me any gift?" Jin asked and Yoongi rolled his eyes remembering when Jin literally barged into his office, asking for a costly gift instead of giving his wedding invitation first. Yoongi pulled out an envelope from inside his suit pocket and gave it to Jin. Jin tilted his head as he took it and looked back at the male, questioning what it was.
"Just open it." Yoongi sighed. Jin opened the envelope and his eyes widened as he looked inside. There are eight tickets to Jin's favorite countries and a black card with a tiny piece of paper, "I'm giving you leave for one month's trip but don't stay any longer than that, I'll miss you. Have fun!" written in Yoongi's handwriting.
Jin lifted his head from the piece of paper to look at his friend, a warm smile spread on his face. Yoongi was looking at the other with the same smile. "Thanks again, Yoongs," Jin said and Namjoon thanked him as well.
Yoongi was about to leave after saying goodbye to the couple when a group of people stopped him. He has a very important meeting to attend. He should leave quickly before the clients reach his company.
He cursed internally as he put a fake ass smile on his face, turning on his heels and heading towards them. He saw a woman with a wine glass in her hand and there was a girl beside the woman who looked around his age. Must be her daughter, Yoongi presumed. There are few other men with them.
"Hello, Yoongi dear! Do you remember me?" she exclaimed too excited, when he walked in front of her. Of course, Yoongi remembered her but would he say that he does? No. So he gave her a confused look, pretending to think. She chuckled, shaking her head.
"Oh, Yoongi, I know you do. How can you forget your favorite aunt?" she chimed.
Yoongi wants nothing but to roll his eyes at her. Choi Sunbi, was once a business partner of his father and she was so sweet when he was little, but she grew horns on her head when she got hold of more money from another company and left their company in crisis while they were facing financial problems.
Now, she is back because Yoongi made a wise decision to invest in a music group BTS, who brought their company to a top position in less than three years. Of course, she is going to slither back like the snake she is. How filthy can someone get, Yoongi wondered.
Yoongi never gave her the chance though. He was always careful with how people can trip to make you fall just when you are taking that one last step to success. He is aware of those kinds of people and Sunbi is one of them.
They hadn't talked for years and Yoongi knew that she was trying to show off to her friends who were standing beside her, shocked to see that she was aunt to the famous Min Yoongi. And Yoongi felt more than blessed to blast her bubble as he smirked.
"Sorry, do I need to remember all the useless things on earth?" He softly asked, raising his eyebrows and tilting his head to the side. People beside him gasped and Sunbi's eyes went wide at the words. Her friends suppressed their laughs, covering their mouths with their hands when Sunbi glared at them.
Just when she was about to say something, Yoongi heard a loud laugh and his head turned to the sound of the person. He saw a man with red hair talking to another man who was with him and was laughing at something they were talking about. The man was absolutely beautiful! Yoongi's eyes never left the male and his feet took him in that direction, following the laughing male.
The red-haired male walked onto the stage and congratulated the couple. He posed for a picture with Jin and Namjoon, smiling brightly at the camera. Yoongi's heart was racing and he never felt like this on seeing someone for the very first time. He can hear the bells ringing from heaven as if it's telling him that the man is the one for him.
Something about that red-haired male was pulling at his heart, and he had a feeling that this wouldn't be the last time he would see the handsome man. He saw the male walking down the stage and when he was about to approach him, a firm grip on his wrist made him turn around.
He saw the girl who was standing beside Sunbi- who he assumed to be her daughter- holding his wrist. She was fuming, completely opposite to how she acted just a few minutes ago. Yoongi didn't pay her much attention there but just a glance he took when she was smiling shyly at him and playing with a strand of her hair gave him the urge to puke.
"How dare you talk to my mom like that?" oh he was right she is the daughter of that ugly snake. Yoongi glared at the hold she still kept on his wrist and she flinched at the sharp look thrown at her and shivered as the dark aura from the male started consuming her. But she didn't take her hands off.
"Fuck off, bitch!" He sneered, roughly swatting away to pull his hand back. She stood there with wide eyes and mouth agape, but Yoongi didn't react much and turned to the spot where he had seen the red-haired male before, but he wasn't there. Shit! He mumbled to himself and ran in to search for him.
After looking everywhere for over half an hour, he came back to the aisle. Jin saw him sitting in a chair and frowned, not knowing what the younger was still doing there in the hall. He excused himself from their guests with a gentle smile and walked down the stage and to his best friend who had a dull expression on his face with his head lowered.
"Yoongi, what are you still doing here?" Jin asked already worried, wondering if whatever might have happened was because of the guests and they might have said something that irritated the male. Yoongi looked up to his best friend and shook his head, not really in the mood to share how he missed his supposedly first love. But then in a sudden moment, something clicked in his head and he hopefully turned to Jin for a positive response.
"Jin, do you know the guy that wished you a while ago? He wore a white shirt and cream jacket. He has red hair and was here with some other guy." Yoongi asked in a hurry. Jin thought for a solid second to remember the guy his best friend was describing.
"Are you talking about the guy that came with Jackson? He was here about half an hour ago? The redhead with ripped jeans?" Yoongi's face lit up like a thousand vault bulbs and he nodded his head eagerly, shaking Jin's shoulder while chanting, "Yes! yes!"
"He is a friend of Namjoon's best friend. Why do you ask?"
"Jin, I need his number and name. Can you please get them for me?" Jin gave him a look, a look of all-knowingness, and a smirk tugged at his handsome face as he wiggled his brows at his friend.
"Don't tell me you fell in l-" Jin didn't get to finish his sentence when Namjoon called him and Jin got up from his seat to go back to his husband. "Alright, I'll look into it for you." Jin winked at him and walked back onto the stage.
