The clock was about to hit 12 in the next few minutes and Jimin eagerly waited for that one person to be the first to wish him on his special day. He couldn't wait to hear Yoongi wishing him a happy birthday.
He didn't get to talk to Yoongi the whole day and he knew the CEO must be busy with the upcoming grand release of his brand. Jimin didn't miss a chance to keep track of how everything was going on with Yoongi's work.
Jimin felt guilty a lot these days because of how he hid the fact that he knew everything about Yoongi but Yoongi didn't know who he was. Of course, it's their understanding to keep things that way, and even though Yoongi already said that he wouldn't mind if Jimin found his real identity, Jimin still felt the guilt eating at him.
He was about to surprise Yoongi with something and he just hoped that Yoongi wouldn't be mad or disappointed when he told him the truth. He just hopes everything will turn out alright because he cannot imagine his life without Yoongi now.
Yoongi became a very important person in Jimin's life within these couple of weeks. He never thought he'd fall this hard for someone he hadn't even met in real life. Must be destiny that they found each other without knowing who they actually were.
Sometimes Jimin felt like he wasted a lot of years in his life when Yoongi was right in front of him all the time. He should have listened to his father and put more interest in their business partners. Maybe they might have been a couple for years if Jimin had gone to meetings alongside his father all these years.
Jimin felt disappointed in him, thinking about all those things. But he also couldn't help but blush at the thought of them being a couple for years. Yoongi was a catch, he'd have been interested in the handsome male either way.
With numerous thoughts running in his head while staring at his phone, eagerly waiting for Yoongi's call, he missed the soft padding of the feet in front of his door. Jimin was startled when the giant Wall clock struck 12 and the door burst open, revealing his parents and two best friends.
"Happy birthday day to you~" They all began singing together with big smiles on their faces while Taehyung carefully held the cake in front of Jimin.
Jimin quickly recovered from his surprised state and smiled brightly at them. He closed his eyes and made a wish with hands clasped together before he blew the candles. Once he opened his eyes, they all clapped for him.
"Happy birthday baby" his parents wished together while his mother hugged him and Mr. Park joined the duo, bringing his wife and son into his embrace, silently wishing this happiness forever to stay with his family.
"Chim Chim! Happy birthday!" Taehyung jumped on him at once, shoving the cake towards Jungkook who put it on the table beside Jimin's bed. Jungkook wished his best friend as well, both boyfriends crushing Jimin between them.
"T-thank you! B-but guys I-I can't br-breathe!" Jimin gasped between the two and they both quickly released him while Jimin coughed, gasping for air. Jungkook and Taehyung smiled sheepishly before settling beside the older.
"Jimin," his father held a small black velvet box tied in a silver bow in front of Jimin with a smile. "I want you to explore the world and run without anything holding you back, son."
Jimin took the box and excitedly opened it. The is a key to the latest model Bugatti La Voiture Noire neatly placed on a cushion. Jimin eyes widened at the gift. He remembered that one time talking to his secretary about the new model of Bugatti while going through a magazine but he never told his dad that he wanted it.
"A father knows what his children want, son." Mr.Park chuckled as if he read Jimin's thoughts.
"Thanks, Dad!"
