Chapter 6

I laughed as I posted pictures onto Instagram. While we all were on the plane to LA, Harry and I sat next to each other, so we did the honors of making funny faces.

As I looked on my feed, Harry had mentioned me in his recent photos. Instead of posting one of the funny pictures, he chose a picture of just me smiling at him.

Harrystyles: @LaniRoss lovely flight don't ya think?

I looked up to the grinning boy. I ruffled his brown curls.

"Yes. This is a lovely flight" I told him.

"So do you want to go to a haunted house once we land? What's October without a little scaring right?" Harry asked.

"I don't know Harry. I don't like scary things. They give me nightmares" I told him. It was as though I was a little kid.

"I'll protect you. I promise" Harry patted my leg.

"Aahhhh" I jumped at the sound of the group in front of us. Harry pulled me close to his body, noticing I was very scared. I could hear the sound of the chainsaw coming up. We've been here for 20 minutes, and I've almost peed my pants, twice.

"When I say run, I want you to run" Harry whispered in my ear. I nodded. The haunted house was both indoors and outdoors. Right now, we were outside. We walked into the dark room that had strobe lights. Harry linked his soft hands with mine. I just wanted to close my eyes an hold him close. Suddenly, I heard the chainsaw behind us.

"Run!" Harry pulled me across the room. I could barely make out his perfect jawline. As we got out, we noticed people crawling on the ground in torn clothes. Zombies. Harry pulled me once more, out of the gates.

"How was it?" Harry asked.

"Scary" I whimpered. Harry pulled me into a hug and chuckled.

"Like I said. I'm here to protect you" he whispered in my ear. His husky voice sent out shivers through my spine.

"But what about tonight? Your room is down the hall from mine" the boy grinned.

"Sleepover?" He suggested.

"Sleepover" I confirmed.

"Harry I'm not tired" I told Harry. His arm was hanging loosely around my waist.

"Maybe if I sing to you, it'll make you fall asleep" I rested my head into his chest, hearing the slow beat of his heart. It soothed me.

"Settle down with me. Cover me up. Cuddle me in...." He sang. My lips curled upward at the sound of his voice. We may not be official, but I wish we were.

"Lie down with me and hold me. In your arms. And your hearts against my chest. Lips pressed to my neck. I'm falling for your eyes but they don't know me yet. And with this feeling ill forget, I'm in love now........." My eyes closed as I listen to his comforting voice.

"This feels like I'm falling in love, falling in love, falling in love." Harry finished. My eyes popped open as I looked deeply into his. "I think I really am falling in love Lani" he whispered.

"I think I am too" Harry smiled at the sound of that. I felt his lips press against mine. Soft and gentle.

"Kiss me like you wanna be loved...." I thought I my head. My hands tangled in Harry's hair, doing whatever they wanted. Without notice, my fears of being alone in the dark, were gone.

Okay Guys,

It took me a while to update....but I had writers block.....like bad. Now that it's up I'm super excited for the next chapter, but I wanna know what you guys think of the story by the chapters that are already up. Please let me know what you guys think. It would also mean a lot if you guys left nice comments for me to read later.
