Justin's POV

Taking a deep breath, I spoke the words I regretted.

"Lani, I can't do this..." Looking over my shoulder, I saw sleeping Cassandra. I shuddered, walking across the room, putting on some clothes. Lani can't know about this, or else she will never trust me. This feels like the only way. Act as though it happened after the breakup.

"Wait what?" She said uncertainly.

"I...I can't do this Lani. I thought I could, but I can't. I don't know how you did it, date me while on tour. I can't stand being away..." I lied. I held back a groan, my head still hurting from the constant partying yesterday.

"Justin..."

"We can still be friends right?" I interrupted her. There was a short pause.

"O-of coarse we can still be friends. Well I gotta go okay? I have...I have to get to bed. Gotta get up bright and early!" She said. Wow this is going easier than planned.

"Um yea. Tell Darcy I said hi. Talk to you later. Bye." I hung up.

"Justin?" I heard a drunken whisper behind me. I grinned and laid back down.

"Yess?"

Lani's POV

I watched as the boys touched their soon to be welts.

"Harry, can I talk to you real quick?" I said to the curly haired boy. He set the BB gun down and followed me down the hall.

"It's over between me and Justin..." I told him. He stared at me with wide eyes. Grin forming on his face.

Without saying a word, our lips crashed together. He pulled me into his chest, wrapping his arms around my waist. My hands wandered through his curls, tugging them slightly. Realizing I couldn't breathe, I pulled away. I could see the joy in Harry's eyes.

"Now we can be a real family." Harry whispered.

"A family." I replied. Taking my hand, Harry guided me back to the boys. They were somewhat tackling each other for the remote. I sat down in Harry's lap, not having a care in the world for what I had to go through, just to make this work.
