"Well let's hope the rain eased up...?"

Chan came back to his office looking to the window.

"And it did not..." he sighed going to get his phone and keys, when he saw it though he saw 3 missed calls from Felix and then another from Yubin.

"They both called...? Probably about something sushi related..." Chan thought it wasn't urgent since Felix said he would be hanging out with Yubin today so he didn't think to call back.

But he didn't have to because she called a few minutes later as he was about to leave his office.

That's odd...

"Yubin?" He answered his phone.

"Chan? Oh good you answered! I've been trying to reach you"

"Oh ya I saw your missed call a bit ago, sorry I've been working all day. But I assume it's something to ask about sushi or if Felix will stay over?" Chan asked leaning against his desk.

"Well actually it's about Felix, is he with you? He hasn't texted me he made it home safely. I saw he called me but I was busy, so when I called back...I haven't been able to reach him"

"No he's not with me, I'm sure he's back home though. I'll try to call and check on him, he left a bit ago?"

"Well it's been almost 2 hours since he left...I haven't heard from him. I'm worried with this rain too, he gets scared when it storms" she said sadly, Chan felt some concern too looking out.

Kitten?

"That long ago? Well he should be home by now, let me call him"

"Ok"

Chan hung up to call Felix, but when he did...

To just kept ringing and going to voicemail.

"What...?"

Chan called a few more times and still Felix didn't pick up. He even texted him.

Felix are you home now?

Usually if Felix was upset at him too, he would at least read the message and leave the older on read. But him not picking up and responding had Chan more worried with this rain too...

"Something isn't right..."

Chan checked their security system from his phone, usually he could see if there has been anyone entered their home at all. But he checked and the last timestamp was Felix leaving around 1 pm to leave...

And the boy hasn't been back since.

So now, Chan was very worried.

"If he's not home, where is he??" Chan pulled up Felix's tracker, he knew the boy put his ring back on yesterday so he looked.

"He's 3 blocks from home...? But why...is he at a store...? But even so, he would at least answer Yubin's calls if not mine..."

Chan checked the tracker periodically to see after 10 minutes the dot didn't move, he even checked the city digital maps to see the stores on that block.

But he noticed, there weren't any...just a bar and a few apartments.

He definitely wouldn't go day drinking...and unless it's a store he really likes, he doesn't spend more than 10 minutes in it without someone shopping with him because his attention span.

"Something is wrong..." Chan grabbed his things to rush out to his car, and with the rain falling he had more worry for the younger.
