Tuesday 8:30 AM
On our way to work, we didn't really talk much, but I could tell SpongeBob was nervous something would go wrong.
Tuesday 9:00 AM
We arrived, clocked in, and went to our stations. The work day was long, but it felt longer when Patrick and Sandy showed up. Hours ended up passing and it wasn't even our break yet. A was sitting down when I felt a nagging at my shirt, I turned around to see SpongeBob trying to whisper something to me. I sighed, getting up and going to the kitchen to see what was the matter. He was shaking as he spoke quietly, "I-I don't t-think I'm okay, I f-feel... 'out of control'?" I pulled out my phone to look it up, "Says you need physical attention again, do you want me to hold your hand for a minute?" He nodded and I took his hand. I motioned at him to follow me as I walked with him outside. On our way out of the building, someone splashed water on SpongeBob, revealing his hair, which had turned into an ombré of pink and yellowish blonde. We panicked, I held onto his hand tightly and ran out of the building, looping around to the back. I thought no one saw where we went, but Sandy and Patrick ended up finding us. I tried to hide SpongeBob behind me, which didn't work very well. Sandy questioned us, "Alright, boys, you're gonna tell me what's going on right now, or I'm about to make you tell me." I sighed and let SpongeBob come out from behind me. His hair was bright pink. As he took off the gloves and took out the contacts, it was obvious he was panicked. Once everything was off, he awkwardly showed Sandy and Patrick his mark, which was brightly glowing. Patrick was an idiot, "Ooo, shiny.. Wait.. what is it?" Sandy looked amazed, "Well, my golly! I haven't seen this in years! That means... SpongeBob! Who's the lucky guy!?" He blushed and glanced at me, still holding my hand. It confused me, while Sandy had other ideas, "Oh~... I see, SpongeBob. Anyway, when did the symptoms begin?" He replied calmer than I was expecting, I guess physical attention did help, "Yesterday morning, so.. I only have about 3 and a half days left, huh? Kissing him sounds scary.. I mean, he doesn't even know yet." Sandy took it more seriously than I or SpongeBob had, "Listen, you have to do it, just tell him how you feel. I know he likes you back. If you don't do it by midnight on Friday, you'll never feel love again. Do you understand how serious that is? It's not just people you won't love anymore, you won't love life, you won't love your hobbies, you could spiral down a rabbit hole you do not want to experience, if you won't do it for yourself, do it for him." SpongeBob took a pause and then agreed, "Yeah, you're right." Patrick interrupted the moment, "Uh.. Can we go home now?" SpongeBob looked at me and I nodded. I told Sandy, "Yeah, we're gonna go."
Tuesday 4:00 PM:
We walked off and I let go of his hand. Once we were on our street, SpongeBob went to his own house, and I went to mine.
