"Want me to turn on the radio?"

"No it's okay, unless you want to"

He looks over as he drives, smiles then lightly shakes his head "No"

I look back ahead taking in the empty roads of Paris, i remember running through these exact ones with Max, now I'm driving along it. Funny how you always end up exactly where you tried to escape from.

"Who else knows?"

I dont need to ask what he means.

"Lev, me and now, you"

He nods turning the wheel for a hard right, i can tell we're at least 5 minutes away from being back and I'm dreading it. He convinced me to come back, sleep, eat something at least and although my mind was set, it was not prepared to go against Nicholas.

"Are you going to tell Max?"

"Max?"

"You two are close, you trust him and he does loves you"

"I dont know, i didn't even plan on telling you let alone two people in one night"

"Of course, i understand"

We both fall silent but i begin overthinking, should i tell him? i mean he is my bestfriend so technically i should tell him-

"Breath, you dont have to tell anyone, this is something that belongs to you Mia. If you dont want to then that's final"

I relax but i have made my decision. I think. The car comes to a stop and he gets out only to lock it shut so that I don't open my own door. The more I try not to smile the harder it is and I know he fucking knows this, finally the car is unlocked and my door is opened by a very pleased Nicholas. I sigh but grin, there's not much I can do about this unfortunately, his presence behind me doesn't go unnoticed by either me or the little squad that has formed in the lobby.

"Mia oh my god"

"Mia-"

They both run up to me, hugging onto me like i'll slip right through them.

"Okay okay ow"

"Well then maybe dont run away like that" Levi sighs rather angrily.

"She didn't run, she went for a walk" Nicholas say's behind me and i mentally chuckle. He passes by me "i'll see you in a bit, don't go missing while I'm gone would you" he winks walking off.

"Right so-" Max begins but laughs midway "i dont even know what to ask you anymore"

"We're friends"

"Oh shut up" Lev quite literally deadpans making Max nod his head along. I'm being ganged up on.

"I leave for less than two hours and come back to find you two being besties, that's more concerning in my opinion"

"Yeah deflect all you like princess but no ones buying your shit in the least"

"Not even Himiko who's currently passed out which by the way brings me to my question, when do I get to kill her?"

"Killing her is going to have to wait for possibly another day, and secondly you can both choke on my shit"

"This bitch-"

"Right well I'm taking you to bed myself because you cant be trusted anymore"

"Whatever" i roll my eyes smiling, Levi begins pulling me into the lift but i turn around at the last second looking at Max "come see me in an hour?"
