5:00 AM came and it was no longer raining.

Sasuke clothes dripped with water.

He stayed seated on the branch of a tree right outside the guy's window.

All night he sent them both death glares.

Keeping her punishment in the back of his mind.

6:00 AM finally rolled in & the guy yawned lightly feeling Hinata in his arms. Feeling his heart sing seeing her comfortably curled up in his arms.

He tried to move but she wouldn't let him. Even in her sleep, she held onto him as if she was awake.

She sleepily spoke. "Stop moving I'm comfortable."

He kissed her forehead quietly speaking to her.

"I have to get up and make some calls."

Her face sadly frowned with her eyes still closed.

He planted plenty of kisses on her forehead reassuring that he would be back soon.

"I promise I won't take long."

She let him go make his calls.

Then he quickly came back joining her under the covers again.

The sunlight shined bright through the window waking Hinata to the smell of something sweet.

She saw a tree outside the window.

The leaves were blowing and it appeared to be dry.

The man came back in with a tray.

It had cinnamon rolls, some split strawberries, and a cup of orange juice.

"I made you some breakfast."

Her heart fluttered & tears swelled up in her eyes.

He immediately sat the tray down on his dresser sitting on the edge of the bed while cupping her face.

"Look at me." he wiped her tears.

"What's wrong did I do or say anything to offend you?"

"Why are you being so nice to me?"
He was taken aback.

"I... was gonna kill you yesterday and now all of a sudden you're... being nice to me."

This scared her bc no one was flat out nice to her.

The thing abt this was it felt good, too good she wasn't used to this type of treatment even with her father's status.

"I'm sorry you must think I'm horrible now."

He pulled her in for a hug and began rocking her.

"Never, you're perfect."

After explaining to her cousin & her old teammates the reason she ran away, (telling them she was upset) she went and visited her father.

"Hello, father." she greeted him.

He was up in his office sitting behind his desk gesturing for her to sit down in the seat in front of it.

And just like clockwork he crossed his hands and placed them under his chin. "You may speak now."

She inhaled deeply and started to speak. "Father, I changed my mind about having a baby."

His breath slowed down when she said that. "You what?" he growled lowly & furrowing his eyebrows.

She gulped. "I changed my mind."

He instantly rose hitting his desk.
Causing her to jump back as she gasped.

"Make up your damn mind! Do you want a baby or not?" he yelled.

She was too startled to answer right away.

He threw his hands on his hips, shutting his eyes for a bit, blowing out a long frustrated breath.

Then he spoke back up.

"See this is why you're gonna join the Anbu officially, work your way up to A-rank missions, and in a couple of years you'll be replacing me as my heiress."

He ordered.

She tried speaking but he cut her off.

"End of discussion."

He sat back down in his seat.

And she tried speaking again.
"End of discussion." he said again sounding a bit harsh.

"Father-"
He balled up his fist slamming it down on his desk, yelling at her causing her to tremble.

"I said end of discussion Hinata!"

She swallowed her fear standing up, tho her legs felt heavy.

"You can't tell me what to do!"

Her voice was shaky.

"Lower your voice!" he said to her.

Hinata was scared for her life she never thinking that she'd stand up to her father like this but she was tired of feeling powerless.

"No father! I'm done listening to you I'm not a lil girl anymore. I'm... a grown woman now."

He stood up again walking in front of her.

"Oh, yeah?"

She sucked in a deep shaky breath. "Y-Yes I am."

"Well, then you don't need my protection or support."

She looked down with shame.

"That's fine father."

Without saying anything else he allowed her to leave.
