The family he always wanted

There she was, sitting on a bench, quietly reading a book, that she held in her small hands, all while looking so peaceful, as she did so.

He noticed her sweet scent, the smell of flowers, which smelt a lot like his mother used to, her smile reminded him of his mother also, even the slightest sight of her round cheeks could make someone's day.

He walked past her, he couldn't help but look at her from the corner of his eyes, she not noticing his presence or glance, keeping her focus on the book.

He almost bumped into a villager for keeping his eyes on her, focusing on so many details of the lovely shy Hyuga. He quickly turned his eyes to apologize.

He found his way to his best friend's apartment. Greeting him with an insult, "how's it going dobe?" the blonde boy returned a big smile, cheesing widely, from ear to ear. "It's going fine! How about you?"

Sasuke sat down on his wooden chair, which stood under his wooden table in the kitchen, "I'm alright." The blonde boy opened his cabinet, searching inside, to grab his favorite meal, "want some ramen?" to be honest, he didn't, but he wouldn't admit it, "sure..."

He made the instant ramen in the microwave and once it was finished, he sat Sasuke's in front of him, and then he began to dig into his, greedily eating it.

"So, do you plan on staying for a while?" he slurped his noodles, talking with a mouthful, as Sasuke ate his, by a couple of strands at a time, "yeah, I plan to."

"So, um, how's Sakura?" he tried his best to make an awkward silence that he held, into a conversation, "man that ramen was good", he rubbed his full belly and threw away the empty container, and answered.

"She's great! She and Lee are engaged now." sasuke couldn't believe the news, the girl he once knew, who was madly in love with him at a point in her life, had moved on from him, finding love in somebody else.

He felt a crumble in his chest as he quickly changed the subject, "how are you and hinata's relationship?" Naruto's shoulders grew limp and his eyes softened up, looking down at the table. "Oh, we, uh broke up."

Hrs of the day went by and nighttime came. Sasuke decided to meet his lover at the Konoha Inn.
