Mira-Jane opened her eyes lazily as the sun shone through the curtains. After days of exhaustion and being completely worn out, she woke up feeling so refreshed and good. She looked to her side to find the furs empty but the sound of the shower running in the bathroom told her he wasn't far off.

She did a long slow stretch and rolled around. Mira did not want to get up but knew it was inevitable. Today's agenda popped up in her mind which instigated a groan of dread from her.

"Is my presence is that unwanted?"

A deep voice broke her thoughts and she lifted her head. Xander stood there with a towel wrapped around his hips with water droplets dripping off of him. He was rubbing his hair with another towel. Mira rolled on her belly, propped her head up with her hands, and lifted her legs up at her knees.

"Oh like that? Absolutely not." Her eyes sparkled and she took in the view.

Xander snorted and walked away to the closet to get dressed. Mira rolled on her back and sat upright.

"So for tonight, do I need to go to this feast event thing?"

"Actually I would prefer it if you did."

"Okay...but I don't have anything to wear that would be feast worthy."

There was a slight pause and Xander exited the closet. He was wearing his usual outfit of a black t-shirt and black tactical pants. "True. Stand up."

Mira complied and stood up. Xander approached her and studied her up and down with his eyes. He placed his hands on her shoulders, the small of her waist, and then slid them down to her hips.

"What are you doing?" She leaned a bit back as his close inspection was a bit of a surprise.

"Taking measurements." He said absentmindedly and under his breath.

"Oh so just by one touch you will be able to get a dress that will fit my size?" Mira had drama and sarcasm in her voice. She walked away from him and went to the bathroom but left the door open.

"Yes. I have some work to do." Xander headed towards the door. He grabbed the door handle but stopped for a moment and turned back to admire his little beauty.

She had just finished washing her face and started to brush her teeth. Her shirt and sweatpants were slightly baggy on her small frame. The sweatpants barely stayed on at her hips. Her weight had changed a lot from recent events. Her short hair was sticking up in every direction from sleeping but she was still the prettiest thing he had ever seen.

"Chase is downstairs on babysitting duty if you need anything."

He had turned back to leave but quickly dodged the bar of soap that was flying through the air at his head. He looked back and winked at his angry little wolf who was now cursing him for his comment.

The day went by seemingly without a hitch. Mira stayed at home with Chase keeping her company. At first, Chase was really nervous and sat on a stool at the counter without moving an inch for the first few hours.

Apparently cabin's are a very private place for Grizzlies and they don't take kindly to it being invaded. Most of the time, visits would happen outside around a campfire in front of the cabin or in the public gathering places. Samuel was the only one with the stupid gall to enter Xander's frequently without fear of retribution. For single Grizzlies, inside guests were slightly an annoyance but for a partnered Grizzly, it was a oh hell no type of situation.
