Lo'ak isn't one to comment on his feelings, he is aware of that. But he will admit to this, seeing Esmyrie ride that Skimwing perfectly first try is hot.

He definitely got flustered and is grateful for her being far away so she doesn't see his blush because the last thing he needs is for her to know he likes her. Neteyam however has a smirk on his face when he see's his brother reaction, he even goes and pokes at his baby brothers red cheeks.

When Esmyrie makes it back to shore, Neteyam is running and tackles her to the ground in a hug.

"That was so badass, sis!" Neteyam yells out, hugging her tight and apoligizing for taking her to the ground.

Esmyrie laughs at, a big smile on her face, something the kids haven't seen in a while, making them all feel happy for the girl.

"Esmyrie, good job." Ao'nung even compliments, and gives Neteyam and Esmyrie a hand each, helping them up.

Ao'nung and Esmyrie are 'friends' now. They can talk to one another and laugh but there is still tension, which Ao'nung understands after everything he has said or done to her and Lo'ak.

Kiri and Tsireya move to Esmyrie, each pushing their brother out of the way before bringing her into a group hug, causing the girl to laugh out loud.

"That was so cool." Tsireya says, giving Esmyrie a supportive smile.

"Yeah, I don't think I have seen anything so badass before." Kiri points out.

Esmyrie hugs them both and gives them a thankful nod for their support, before moving her gaze to Lo'ak, who is the only one that hasn't said anything to her yet. He is just standing there, staring at her, a hidden emotion in his eyes that Esmyrie can't read.

Kiri and Tsireya let go of the girl, and look to see the two looking towards each other. They give a knowing look to each other before Tsireya wraps an arm around Ao'nung and Kiri grabs at Neteyams wrist, pulling their brothers away with them so the girl and Lo'ak can have some privacy.

Esmyrie turns and sees that Jake and Tonowari are still in the water talking to each other so she turns her attention back to the boy that just stares at her, thankful she is able to have some privacy with her best friend.

"Hi-"

"I see you." Lo'ak interrupts, bowing before looking back towards her.

Esmyrie smiles, a small blush forming on her cheeks, trying to hide it with her white hair but Lo'ak seems to notice.

Is she blushing? Why is she blushing if she doesn't like me? Loak thinks to himself but he shakes the thoughts out of his head that she could like him back. He doesn't want to get his hopes up for something that isn't ever going to happen. Instead he just goes over to the girl and pulls her into a big hug, feeling as she wraps her arms instantly around his back.

"You amaze me every single day, Esmyrie." Lo'ak whispers, pulling away just slightly to move some hair out of her face, placing it behind her ear.

He looks at her then, taking in all her features. Like the white freckles that go along her forehead more than anywhere else, or the slight scar on her cheek from when she was little and fell down. Her eyes, that hold such a beauty to them, a beauty Lo'ak has never seen before.

He traces her cheek with his thumb and lets his eyes wonder down her body, smiling at her ombre skin and white braid that protects her tsaheylu. Her arms that still have scabs on them, recovering from her self inflicted scratches. He sees that she is wearing the skirt that has his handprint on it and he subconsciously moves a hand to play with the flower in his hair.
