Pandu sent the news of Drina to Hastinapur and let's just say that except for Queen Gandhari, Bhishma Pitamah, Mahamantri Vidur and a little bit of Dhritarashtra were happy to hear the news. Except for them, no one wanted to believe or accept Drina's birth story.

As years went by. Everyone loved Drina more than their own lives. As Mahadev told, she would have all the qualities of The Pandavs.

She had the beauty of Nakul, the knowledge of Ayurved like Sahdev, and the concentration and accuracy of Arjun, she may not be as powerful as Bheem but no one could call her powerless, and last but not the least, she knew Dharma just as Yudhisthir but knew the difference between Dharma and Righteous. She was the beating heart of the Pandavs.

Drina was now 7. Yudhisthir was 14 and a half, Bheem was 14, Arjun was 13 and a half, and the Madri twins were 13.

Drina always knew the truth about her birth, and still counted the Pandu family as her family. She was a big devotee of Mahakal (Mahadev) and Mahakali ( Ma Parvati) and thanked both of them for giving her such a loving family.

At least to say, she was a very naughty yet mature girl when needed as the Pandavs called her "Hamari choti Shetan" (our little monster).

" Pitashree!" shrieked Drina, and hugged Pandu's legs

The Pandavs ran behind her and sat down

" What happened Drinu?" Pandu asked her with the nickname he made " Are your brothers troubling you?" he questioned

"We troubling her !?" Arjun asked, widening his eyes

" She is the one, troubling us pitashree" Nakul said as he tickled her

" So what? Little sisters are made to trouble older brothers" Pandu sided her

" Pitaji, since you taught her how to wield the sword, and use a bow, she keeps saying that she will slay the demons," said Yudhisthir while taking Drina in his lap.

" Learning is not enough, Jyesht. Using it for good karma is important. Raavan was very knowledgeable but he used for wrong karma." she said while bouncing

" Look at how fast she is growing up" commented mata Madri

"A few years back she was giggling baby in my arms always surrounded by her brothers," Said Mata Kunti while serving everyone Ladoos

"Mata, I only got one" Drina gave her cute pout

" Here you go little one," Bheem said as he gave one of his ladoo to Drina and she laughed and hugged Bheem.

Everyone was a little shocked, even though they knew that Bheem loved his sister dearly, but Bheem's love for Drina was more than his love for food.

" Thank you, Bhrata Bheem"

" History has changed! Bhrata Bheem has finally shared his food" Said Nakul " Is he fine? Does he have a fever?" asked Sahedev in fake concern

" Do you want me to eat your food?" Bheem asked angrily

" Sons always remember, Drina is your sister no matter what. Even though she will be able to protect herself from any harm, you all must take care of her, remember your promise." Pandu reminded his sons, and they all nodded

" How can we not Pitashree?" said Yudhisthir

" We will always keep our monster safe," Sahdev and Nakul said together

" It is not only a promise but a vow," Said Arjun and Bheem in a union

"Mata Kunti, please can you also come with me and my brothers? I also want to play with you" She asked while giving her doe eyes

" How can I say no to my only loving daughter," Kunti said while pinching her cheeks

" She is my daughter too, Jiji." Madri added with a teasing smile

" Let's Go!" Arjun said as he took her in his arms

They all were playing and running. Arjun was teaching Drina how to use a bow, which he learned from their father. After some time they all tried to catch Drina who was running around.

Suddenly she fell and pricked her toe and tears welled up in her eyes " Ah" she shouted, all the Pandavas rushed near her, and Sahdev fixed her wound. Nakul said " You won Drina!" and Bheem consoled her " How strong you are, little monster" Yudhisthir praised, and Arjun brought her a beautiful rose for her.

" Maa, I don't feel so well. I have a bad feeling, that something has happened to pitaji" said Drina

" No putri, you are just worried. You are his favourite child,na?"  Mata Kunti said

" If you want to go, we will go" said Arjun.

They didn't know that the bad feeling was nothing else but the death of Pandu which was triggered by him and Madri.
