Drina went to the Royal Garden to meet Karn. She didn't know where he was but she knew that whenever he felt dejected he comes here. Drina entered the Garden and saw him sitting on the swing. Drina slowly walked over to him and sat beside him, she kept her head on his shoulder. Karn realised her presence but didn't move.
The scene where Drona was insulting him came into his mind. "You didn't go to the Panchal war because I wasn't allowed because I was a Sutaputra" he slowly whispered. She still kept her head on his shoulder and answered, "No, I didn't go because my Sakha wasn't allowed" she said looking at his face which was shining like the sun, he turned his head, straightly looking at her ocean green-blue eyes.
"You said If I ask you anything you will complete it" he reminded her, looking front. "Yes I did and I will still do," she said gazing where was looking too. "I know there will be times where we will be separated and there will be things and situations trying to tear us apart but--" Drina cut him in between and asked, "Why do you think I'll go away from you?".
Karn said ruefully, "Hasn't that always happened?" he let out a dry chuckle.
He looked at her and sincerely said, "You are the only person in this whole world who understood me, Helped me when I needed it. Stood by my side whenever I needed. Since we were children till now, every single time you were still there no matter what. You even went against your brothers for me. I don't know what will I be doing if you weren't there Drina. I want just one thing from you, which might sound selfish but Will you come with me whenever I need you? Will you always be there for me? Do you promise me this Drina? Will you be able to fulfil this?" he frettingly completed.
He thought he had asked too much, but he forgot the girl beside him was ready to give him the world.
Drina blinked and answered, "Without a doubt, I will fulfil those"
"Thank you" he whispered, as he held her hand in his. She was a warrior that to a swordsman, her hands were rough but also so gentle, he made circles on the back of her hands with his thumb. She kept her head on his shoulder, both looking at the setting sun, but they knew their journey had just begun.

Pandavs had won the war. Drina was more than happy, at the victory of her brothers. Now Yudhishtir was going to be the Yuvraj of Hastinapur. Kunti was beyond happy to see her son on the Throne of Hastinapur, the throne which belonged to Pandu once. But shouldn't the throne be given to Karn as he was the oldest in the Kuru dynasty? But this truth was buried deep in her heart.
It had been weeks since Yudhishtir's coronation. And Duryodhan was about to burst with anger. His lust for the throne had increased so much. That he wanted to kill Pandavs in front of everyone just for the throne.
Duryodhan had called Karn into his secret chamber. He had built the Lakshagrih for the Pandavs, he wanted this news to reach his Mitr.
Karn entered the dark chamber, he saw Dusshasan, Mamashree and Duryodhan standing near a model of a palace.
"Ahh Mitr Karn" Duryodhan said. "Pranaam Angraj" greeted Shakuni. "What is this Mitr?" Karn asked pointing at the model
"This is a Masterpiece, my friend. A masterpiece for my revenge. This masterpiece is the Lakshagriha." he stated
"The Lakshagriha?" he asked, frowning
"This place is made by Lacquer in Varnavat. I will invite Pandavs, Drina and their mother to stay there. and then my people will light the fire and they all will die and the throne will be mine." he greedily said
Karn's eyes widened in horror, "What do you mean mitr? Burning your own family members alive for a throne?"
"Yes, mitr. Promise me whatever the situation might be, you won't tell anyone" Duryodhan forced him
Karn nodded hesitantly and went to get some fresh air. "I can't let that happen to Drina. No no never. She can't die. I can't let her die. No no" He muttered, sweat all over his face, breathing fastly he went to Kunti's chamber.

Here Purochan was persuading Kunti to come to Varnavat's Fair. Drina was sitting beside her mother listening continuously to Purochan constantly complimenting about the fair and the place he made.
"Rajmata, The fair is so beautiful that every Kingdom's Yuvraj comes there. If Yuvraj and your Pandu family come there then the fair will become more prestigious." he continued
Kunti shook her head, and said, "I and my family would love to come there but Yudhishtir just has been made the Yuvraj."
"Oh I understand Rajmata," he said looking down. "There was going to be a puja held there for Maharaj Pandu" he chimed in "Now if you don't want to come then----" Drina's ears perked up and she said, " No No Purochan we will definitely come for the Puja"
"But Putri your leg wounds haven't healed yet. You can't travel yet" Kunti reasoned. " Maa, I can walk and I will sit in the Palki okay? Not on the horse" she argued like a little child
A dasi entered and said, "KuruKumari, Mahamahim Bhishma is calling you". Drina left and so did Purochan.
Kunti was in dilemma, Drina needed to stay here but how can she leave her own daughter with the snakes in the place? The dasi entered again and said, "Angraj is asking permission to enter"
Kunti smiled and said , "Yes yes let him in"
"Pranipaat Rajmata." he greeted her
"Ayushman Bhava Putra" she blessed him wholeheartedly
"Mata I want to ask If I can invite Rajkumari Drina to Angdesh" he asked her
Kunti smiled, this was the solution to her problems, " Sure sure Putra. I allow it. We are also going to Varnavat. Please take care of her Putra. I don't trust anyone in this palace walls anymore," she said
KArn nodded and went to see Drina. Drina was in her chamber. He entered as he was allowed by the Guards as per Drina's order.
"What are you doing here Radhey?" she softly asked without looking at him, sensing his presence
"How did you know I was here?". She chuckled, "I have only allowed the guards to let You enter without my permission"
"Drina I want you to come with me to Ang" he stated his wish
" But I am going to Varnavat for Pitashree's Puja" she said
" I know but Rajmata doesn't want you to go" he reasoned
"Everyone is going there. It will be beautiful and Bhaiyas are also going there. Nad I am completely fine. I know I am not fully healed but still"
"But Pitashree--" she said. "I know Drina but you remember what you promised a few weeks back, I am doing this for you. The people of Ang desperately want to meet you" he said sitting beside her.
"Only this time Drina. I promise" he looked at her hopefully.
"Only this time Karn" she repeated looking into his brown eyes which were so persuasive. That if he asked for her life she'd give it happily.
She didn't know how much he was happy and gleaming she had accepted his invitation.
