Chapter 4 - Secrets

"...its the Lady of Magick's crest..." I looked at him stunned before I pulled it to me before opening it only to reach into it to feel a bunch of things inside it but something slipped onto my finger making a warm feeling slipped up my arm making me shiver a little before I felt a paper come to my hand which had me pulling it out. When I pulled it out I saw that it was a will which all of a sudden opened before a calming voice came out telling us that whoever inherits her magic will become the new Lord or Lady of Magick which apparently was me before she passed on a curse to those who hurt us along with a blessing to those who have helped us. "Congratulations Lord Magick you are now an emancipated adult in the Wizarding World. Mr. Potter if you accept the Heir rings in front of you then you will also become the Lord of Potter, Peverell and Gryffindor." Harry nodded before he picked up the Potter ring sliding it on only to put it back, "I have to get back at those who have stolen from us in order to prove to them." I nodded watching as he placed on the Peverell family ring next only for it to stay on making me sigh before he tried the Gryffindor one for it to do the same making me smile at Harry glad that two of them accepted him while he had to do a test for the Potter family ring. "Congratulations to the both of you the Lord Peverell-Gryffindor, and Lord of Magick the trace on your magic is no longer attached to you since you both are now adults, when would you like to do a Cleansing to rid yourselves off these potions, spells, and other items we've found in your systems?" I looked at Harry knowing we couldn't do it now because just outside was four people who were attached to Dumbledore so I took the Quill in front of me before sighing my marriage contract to Blaise knowing this was going to be a little weird once we got to school while Harry did the same with his for Draco which meant that we wouldn't be in anymore contracts.

"When will they know about us signing the contracts?" I said looking at Fireclaw who told us that the minute we signed them they would know which had me nodding sighing, "We can't do it today but when you have everything ready send us a letter by either coming yourself or by a house-elf since mail is being warded and we don't want Dumbledore to know about it, I also want a copy of this but only showing things that we already know, I don't want the potions or anything we just found out to be on there just in case they try to take it from us." Fireclaw nodded doing as I said before we left hiding our Lord rings making me sigh before we went down to get our money which the goblin offered a similar bag to mine to Harry only it would have his Lord crest's on it along with the Potter one but it would be faded until he finished the task sent to him. I grabbed a lot planning to go for a small shopping spree to get things we couldn't before, which had Harry nodding  when I told him so he did the same before we headed back up to the other's putting on fake smiles as we did pretending we had no idea about what they did to us. "Hey sorry I was asking him about our vault since we didn't have the keys so we had to do a blood test to prove who we were to get a copy of it that we returned once we came back up with them telling us we needed to get our original keys back." They nodded as we left to go shopping but Harry and I came up with an idea, "There's a few things we need to get before we get our books you guys go ahead we'll meet you at Florish and Botts." They all nodded while I dragged Harry into a trunk shop to get trunks so we could keep people out, so we walked in we walked over to the owner, "Hello we would like to order two new trunks and..." He nodded before asking how we wanted thinks so I let Harry go first smiling, "I would like both of ours to be four compartments, divided into four sections, 2 big sections, one for clothes and the other books, a smaller section for extra parchment, the third section should be divided into two sections, one smaller one for cubbies for ink, and slightly bigger one for Quills and other items. The bags should be messenger bags with a feather light charm to on them, a water repelling charm, and an undetectable extension charm on both. I would like my trunk to be in Emerald green leather, Ebony wood, and gold for the rest." he said after listening to what the owner said about the trunk designs before he turned to me making me smile at him, "I would like dark Emerald leather, Rosewood wood, and gold locks can we make the passwords later or do we have to do them when we pick up our order?" he told us that we could pick them out later once we got some privacy so that no one but us would know them. He told us that the order would be done in a few hours which had us nodding as we paid for them before leaving, then we went and got more ink and parchment for school, however on our way to get treats for our owls I stopped at an alleyway almost like I was possessed before something came running towards me, then climbed up to my shoulder sitting there curled around my neck shivering. I snapped out of it when I heard yelling only to see what appeared to me as a small dragon baby that I'd read about so I was shocked to see it there but when I held out my arms it climbed down and it literally laid against my chest but when I raised up my hand to pet it turned it's head and bit my hand making me wince before I could hear a voce inside my head. (Master! I am so happy to finally meet you!) I was stunned hearing that but wondering where he came form so I asked him to take us there which he did, when we walked into the shop the man behind the counter who just smiled at us seeing the dragon circling around my right hand while a snake circle around my left that I got from when Voldemort tried to kill Harry which rebounded the spell off his head while hitting my left hand.

"Ah I see, the young child finally found his destined partner." I looked at him confused but he then told us all about familiars while Harry walked over to one of the enclosure's only to put his hand inside it which had me smiling at him since it seemed he's found his bonded partner, a beautiful white basilisk, once we got everything we needed we left while my new friend curled up on my shoulder. "You'll have to share that spot with Sena, Kuro." He nodded happily releasing a soft purr while we headed out to finish our shopping putting all our new items into our bottomless bags as we headed to our last stop which was to get our books, "Harry we'd better get some books on Defense I have a feeling our teacher this year will suck." he nodded before we took off to catch up with the Weasleys sighing, but when we got there we stopped seeing a sign out front making us groan.

today 12:30o.m to 4:30p.m.

I groaned thinking about it knowing this guy was out to make a quick buck since none of his stories had actual facts about what he did, so we tried to sneak in but that didn't happen as Lockhart saw us before having us pulled up to him making me want to punch the guy but I held it in knowing it wouldn't be good to do that here. I just looked away as we were brought up side by side to him with Harry on his right and me on his left while the photo's were took before Lockhart started to talk, "Ladies and gentlemen what an extraordinary moment this is! The perfect moment for me to make a little announcement that is! The perfect moment for me to make a little announcement I've been sitting on for some time! When young Harry and Kaito here stepped into Flourish and Botts today, they only wanted to buy my autobiography - which I shall be happy to present them now, free of charge -" the crowd applauded which had me about to roll my eyes since I hadn't been wanting to buy that neither did Harry. "They had no idea, that they would shortly be getting much, much more than my book, Magical Me. They and there schoolmates will, in fact, be getting the real magical me, yes, ladies and gentlemen I have great pleasure and pride in announcing that this September. I will be taking up the post of Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!" I inwardly groaned at that while the crowd cheered before we were presented with the entire works of Lockhart before we managed to walk away I then stuffed all of them into my bottomless bag sighing before I walked over to the desk after telling Harry that I was going to find us better Defense books while Harry waited for the rest of the Weasley's to finish. "Hi were are your Defense books?" I asked the lady behind the counter who told me where to go but while I was looking I bumped into someone who had me looking over apologizing while bowing with my hand over my chest before I realized who it was that I had bumped into.

"Hello young Mr. Potter, I am Narcissa Malfoy and it's alright." I smiled softly at her, "Thank you Mrs. Malfoy... um this might sound weird but have you gotten a letter from Gringotts yet?" When she said no I told her that she would understand that why I said that latter which had her nodding before I smiled at her but then I felt a bad energy coming before I bowed to her telling her that I had to go so I left to continue browsing for more books only to have the basket I was using to become heavy which had me looking at it only to look back at Mrs. Malfoy only to smile and bow to her again as she winked at me so I headed back downstairs to pay for them along with getting Harry copies since I didn't know where the books came from but along with way I can across a book on Ancient Runes along with one on Wizarding Abilities so I grabbed them smiling as I approached the desk. "Hello I would like to purchase these books but I would like copies of the ones in the basic my soon to be Godmother summoned them into my basket so I didn't know where she got them from." She just nodded using a spell to bring them to me while I pulled out the money she said would be for our books I then asked her if she could label the books so we would know whose was whose which she did happily before I put them in my bag heading over to Harry sighing since we were still waiting while wrapping my arm around his laying my head on his shoulder. When I saw Blaise across the library I almost ran over to him but I did show that I knew about our contract before he left, the same thing happened with Draco and Harry moments later but then things took a turn with Mr. Malfoy hitting Mr. Weasley which had me almost smiling. I sighed as we left wanting to go home eat and sleep but I knew this was only the beginning since we had to Floo back to the Burrow but I knew with time we would get used to it along since we weren't good with it yet, but practice would help us with that later on down the road. It was hard for us the rest of the summer since we knew what they had done to us but we put on a mask pretending everything was alright while looking through the books we know had knowing that we wouldn't get much during our Defense Against the Dark Arts class this year since the teacher was a quack.
