Chapter 11 - Christmas

Ginny didn't like it either but she had been a lot lately so it had me worried about her wondering how she was fitting into our dorm, everyone else didn't like it either but we didn't care because at least we knew that they were doing it in good fun since they knew we weren't the heir of Slytherin which showed that not everyone believed in that stupid nonsense that but Ron thought that because Draco was making a sour face when they did it but it was only because he thought the twins were making fun of us when they weren't and he understood when we wrote to him about it. Ron wasn't happy about anything that dealt with Draco but Hermione said that we would find out soon since the Polyjuice potion was ready which had me knowing I didn't want to take it so I had come up with a plan to stay out of it. We both found it calmer in the dorm without anyone else in it other than Ron since only, we even practiced our dueling there without hurting anyone so we learned a lot of things and we had a lot of fun before we all decided to go to bed after sending off the presents that meant for our loved ones while Harry and I just gave ours to our house-elves to give to the ones we wanted to give presents to. When Christmas morning came I was curled up under my blanket with Sena and Kuro laying at my stomach but we were woken up by Hermione bright and early, making me glare at her while yawning, "Why so early?" Hermione just smiled at us before saying she had been up for an hour already, "Merry Christmas to you three as well, I've been up for nearly an hour, adding more lacewings to the potion it's ready." Both boys sat up awake and alert which had me rolling my eyes shut then Hedwig and Snowlily flew in carrying boxes with them making us smile at our owls, "Hey Snowlily glad to see you I've missed you." I had to laugh when Kuro and Sena rubbed there heads against her showing there love for Snowlily while Harry's little basilisk did the same for him when he reached up to pet her still hiding within his clothes since that was the best place to protect him from anything around us. Harry and I both got a toothpick and note asking if we could find a way to stay at school during our summer vacation to but Harry and I shared a look once we read the note smiling. The next gift I pulled towards me was from Hagrid which was a tin if treacle toffee, which I knew to soften before eating since things Hagrid gave us was usually to hard, Ron had given us a book called Flying with the Cannons, Hermione had gotten me a luxury eagle feather quill, Mrs. Weasley had sent us both new hand-knitted sweater's a large plum cake. There were still more presents left but Ron and Hermione were getting hungry so we told them to head on down and we'd join them in a moment which they did as I pulled a silver and green box to me making me smile as i saw the name since it was from Narcissa who gave me a bunch of letter's from our parents and them about Harry and I's care should anything happen to them.

The next one was from Lucius which was a book of spells debating not only protection but healing, which had me smiling, the one I got from Draco had me laughing since it was a book of picture's that were of Blaise and Draco when they were young, Mrs. Zabini had sent me a book on what I would need to learn so I could help Blaise once were married. Blaise sent me the most beautiful dueling robe which had both of our crest's on it, with his family color's as the base with ours mixed in as well making me smile at it wanting to put it on immediately but knowing I couldn't right now. Then we quickly put away our gifts hoping those we sent would love the gifts we gave them as we got a shower before getting ready in the clothes that I had gotten us when I got Sena her food before getting Kuro while out shopping for our school supplies, the guy who had given us our familiars also gave us the cages and food for our new family member's. I was still tired as we headed down to the Great Hall for breakfast, I was happy about everything since it was a good Christmas this time but then Hermione pulled us out of the hall to finalize our plans for this since we still needed the last few things for the potion, a bit of who we were going to be turning into, but I told them that one of us shouldn't go so we could cover for the other three which they agreed to. "I vote Kaito he's pretty crafty when needed." Hermione and Ron both nodded remembering that I had pretty much kept us out of a lot of trouble before so it would be best for me so they came up with a plan to get what they needed from Crabbe and Goyle since Hermione apparently already had what she needed from the person she was going to impersonate,.
