Chapter 5 - The Train

The night before we had to go back Mrs. Weasley made a big dinner Fred and George even let out Fireworks making us all have fun before we had to go to bed with me happy since we could finally be away from all this since at school I could stay in the library and read or work on homework since Ron hates that plus there's plenty of places to hide. It took a long time to get started the next day but I noticed that none other than Percy were ready the night before since I had Harry get his stuff packed so that we wouldn't be a hindrance to them in the morning I sighed wondering how they did this every year Mrs. Weasley was running around while Mr. Weasley was trying to get our trunks to the car while trying not to trip over the chickens, but I couldn't really see how nine people but eight trunks, three owls, and a rat would work getting into the car. When we took our trunks over to the small Ford Anglia but I just smiled at it when I realized what Mr. Weasley had down to the car but he asked us not to tell Mrs. Weasley which had us nodding, then we all got into the car with Harry, me, Ron, George, and Percy were all sitting in the back, while Mr. Weasley, Mrs. Weasley, and Ginny in the front seat, "Muggles do know more than we give them credit for, don't they?" Mrs. Weasley said when they got in which stretched out so it resembled a park bench, "I mean you'd never know it was this roomy form the outside, would you?" Mr. Weasley started up the engine and drove it out of the yard. We made a little ways before George forgot his Filibuster fireworks, then five minutes later we stopped because Fred forgot his broom, then Ginny forgot her diary so by the time she got into the car again we were already late which had me looking at Harry annoyed with my head down pretending to play with Kuro in my lap. He had taken to Harry really well but mostly because he was my brother but a plus was he hated the Weasley's, then Mr. Weasley wanted to use the flying function to the car but Mrs. Weasley said no so by the time we got there we were really rushing to get to the train, which had Percy going fist, then Mrs. Weasley next followed by Fred and George, then Mr. Weasley went through with Ginny telling us to follow after but I felt something wrong with the gateway. I asked Magick to allow us to pass through with no problem before grabbing onto Harry since our stuff was packed into the same trolley for it to be easier so Harry took off at the wall with me right behind him with me closing my eyes as we passed right through the wall making me sigh as we quickly ran to get our things onto the train before climbing in not really caring what happened to Ron since he was stealing form us he should expect some kind of rebuttal in return. However while we were looking for a compartment a door opened before someone grabbed my arm shocking me as I was pulled into the compartment and into someone's arms who seemed to not want to let me go, but I could hear Harry running into the room worried only for him to be grabbed as well.

I managed to get whoever had me to loosen there grip only to see that it was Blaise Zabini who had me along with Draco who was in Harry's arms which had us smiling before I turned to look up at Blaise, "So you got the memo?" he just nodded smiling at me before pulling me back into his arms making me chuckle since I never expected him to like this. "We were told about our betrothals when we were young, we hoped that when we met at Hogwart's that you would come to us but were disappointed when you didn't and you can both call me Blaise. So our mothers told us that we needed to be patient, wait for you two to come to us but when you never did we did our best to help you without others seeing... it was hard staying away from you like this and not being able to do anything..." He stopped when I hissed since he had been playing with my hands after we had sat down to talk after making sure the door was locked which had him pulling my sleeve back showing the obvious bruise's on it which had me looking down at my lap embarrassed, "Who did this?! Was it the Weasley's?!!" I quickly grabbed his shirt when he was about to stand up, "No it wasn't them... it was our aunt and uncle... please don't ask to much about it now " that didn't sit well with either of our betrothed's but they let it slide for now so we talked about other things, Draco even said we could call him by name as well before telling us that his mom was talking to someone named Amelia Bones to grant custody of us to her since she is our godmother and since we allowed her to use whatever she could to help us he was able to give Amelia our test results, until we got the announcement that we would be arriving at school soon so both boys allowed us to change in the compartment while they went to the bathroom making us smile glad that they were willing to do this for us. Then once we got to the school Blaise placed a glamour over me making me look at him confused before he lead me out of the compartment just as Draco did the same to Harry before we got into a carriage being pulled by weird looking horse, inside were Pansy Parkinson and Theo Nott. "Hey Blaise, Draco why are you with those two Gryffindor's?" Both Draco and Blaise looked mad when they said that which had them looking stunned wondering what they had done wrong, "They have names Pansy and I don't appreciate you talking to my betrothed that way, both Kaito and Harry signed there marriage contracts over the summer so it's legal."

"Oh, then I apologize to both of you Potter's, I didn't know you had signed the contracts and congratulation's on your upcoming bonding's you may call me Pansy." We nodded while Theo said the same thing making us nod and allow them to call us by our names but when we got to the school they all started leaving the carriage which had Blaise kissing my forehead before he got down telling us to wait a bit before we left due to other students being around which we nodded to before they left with Draco kissing Harry's check as he left making us both blush. So we waited a little bit before we headed inside the castle going over to the Great Hall before heading to the Gryffindor table with everyone else before sitting down to wait for the sorting to happen and the feast while sending silent looks at Blaise. Then we headed to the Common room once everything was done only to find out that Hermione had finally found Ron and brought him into the common room grilling him about what happened which had me smirking while heading up to my room to catch some sleep but I did hear that he had used his dad's car to get to school along with crashing it into the Weeping Willow. which had us laughing at that since it meant that he had gotten in trouble so I fell asleep dreaming about Blaise and our future bonding, the next day I woke up before getting ready and heading down to the common room still in a good mood to see Harry waiting for me as we headed to the Great Hall. Once seated we started eating only to stop once the mail came since our owls landed in front of us with small packages and loads of letter's making me smile only to freeze seeing one from Mrs. Zabini before I looked over at Blaise still a bit worried but he just smiled at me so I took a deep breath before opening it to that she was happy that I had signed the contract and that she couldn't wait to talk with me face to face along with Harry as he would become Blaise's brother-in-law which had me smiling before showing it to Harry who nodded but before I could go trough the rest a loud shrill pierced through the room making me cover my ears. I looked to see a red envelope in front of Ron that looked like it was talking before it ripped itself up allowing me to sigh but I was happy that he had finally gotten into trouble for what he had done, I quickly put away the rest of my mail waiting while Professor McGonagall passed out our schedules seeing that we had double Herbology with the Hufflepuff's today before we headed out to the Greenhouses to get our class underway. However when we closer it was shocking to see everyone still outside but no Professor Sprout which was concerning since this never happened before but the she showed up with Professor Lockhart making me want to hide since this guy was nothing more than an attention seeker and his targets right now were Harry and myself apparently.

We learned then that we would be repotting Mandrakes which Sprout asked us about them which had Hermione to literally shout out the answer not giving anyone else a chance to answer it, "Mandrake or Mandragora, is a power restorative, it is used to return people who have been transfigured or cursed to their original state." I sighed knowing she had to be a complete know-it-all with everything without giving other's a chance to shine even those from her own house which had me looking at them wanting to knock Hermione in the head, "Excellent ten points to Gryffindor, the Mandrake forms an essential part of most antidotes it is also, however, dangerous who can tell me why?" I raised up my hand along with Hermione knowing she would just blurt out the answer anyway but I wasn't happy when she nearly hit Harry in the process before saying the answer before anyone had the chance to be called on, "The cry of the Mandrake is fatal to anyone who hears it." she said smiling smugly with Sprout nodding, "Precisely, take another ten points, now the Mandrake we have here are still very young." she said indicating a row of deep trays which had us shifting to look at them. A hundred or so tufty little plants, purplish green in color, were growing there in rows, they looked quite unremarkable to Harry and myself since we had no idea about the cry part. "Everyone take a pair of earmuff's." She said as everyone tried to seize a pair that wasn't pink I managed to grab a black pair along with Harry, "When I tell you to put them on, make sure your ears are completely covered when it is safe to remove them I will give you a thumbs-up. Right - earmuffs on." I quickly did as she said along with everyone only to realize that they cut out all sound no matter what before we turned our attention to Professor Sprout as she showed us how to replot the weird looking creature into a new plot before she started adding dirt to it until it was covered. Then once that was done she gave us the signal so we all took off our earmuffs, "As our Mandrakes are only seedlings, their cries won't kill you, however they will knock you out for several hours and as I'm sure none of you want to miss your first day back make sure your earmuffs are securely in place while you work. I will attract your attention when it is time to pack up, four to a tray - there is a large supply of pots here - compost in the sacks over there - and be careful of the Venomous Tentacula, its teething." she said as she slapped a dark red plant, and before I could join Harry and them a person from Hufflepuff did so I was grabbed by Blaise to join him along with Theo and Draco as we got started on this little project happily.
