"Amelia? What's going on?" Cecilia asked
"Luna hurt her arm." Amelia answered
"What?"
"I fell from the stand, it hurts so much."Luna said
"It was such a loud noise, then I heard Luna crying..." Amelia said
*Oh no!*
"Let me see..." i said
"Ouch, ouch ouch!"
"Ok, Luna, the ambulance is waiting for you.I'm sorry, Amelia, but Luna can't play the guitar with you tonight." the Organizer said
"But it's a duet. What am I going to do?" Amelia asked
"It's the most important concert of the year...Wait..."Cecilia said
"Miss Poarch,You know the piece! We played it together a week ago." Amelia said
"Oh,Yes! I do know it!"
"Could you play it with me? My duet performance won't work if I'm alone." she said
"Am I allowed to play?I'm not on the attendees list."I said
"We can make an exception for you.You're here to help Amelia." The organizer said
"Please, it's so important to us!" Cecilia begged
"And you look so beautiful! You'll really shine on stage!" she said
"The room is filled with the greatest musicians in London, I'm sure it will give you exposure" Cecilia said
"It would mean it a lot, Miss Poarch" she said
*It's a big chance for Amelia, And for me! I can't let them down!*
"I'll do it! But can you give me the notes? I have to refresh my memory." i asked
"Thank you so much, Miss Poarch!" she said
"It means a lot to us, I don't even know how to thank you!"Cecilia said
"That's okay, I loved Performing and Amelia needs help."I answered
"Okay, hurry up! You're starting in a few minutes." Cecilia said as we went on stage.
"I'm honored to play with you, Miss Poarch." Amelia said
"It's me who's honored"I said
"Due to a small accident, Luna Rosewood won't be able to support Amelia Mondelli in the guitar duet. In her place will be taken by Miss Caitlyn Poarch. I'm sure they'll give you a stunning performance. Big applause!"
Seeing the huge audience looking at me and Amelia was thrilling. I recognized so many people from the music Industry that I've never dream I would be performing for. Even my younger sister was in the crowd, smiling at me. But what's more important...I saw William in the audience.He was piercing right through me giving me a thank you look.
"Ready?" I asked
"Ready!" she answer
We started to play the duet performance, I've never seen Amelia, focused yet so cheerful.We were in sync,And even if Hundreds of eyes were on us... The only thing that mattered was Music. The audience was amazed by our perfectly performed pieces. And I was proud of both of us. Soon, Amelia started her solo pieces,And I could tell that I gave her a big confidence boost. Everyone was stunned by her performance. And I knew i'd made a good decision to help her get out there.
"You did so well!" I said
"Thank you for playing with me!" Amelia said
"Wow, I must say you both gave outstanding duet performance! I will keep my eye on you, Amelia. And you, Miss Poarch. Expect a message from me soon. I think you might get a lot of lucrative offers." Theodore Blanchet said
