Chapter 7 - Violence/Loss

Kylie crawls through the vent, kicking the cover off at the other side.

She finds a lot of freaky shit while searching the workshop, and get another scare while trying to leave as someone grabs her ankle.

"Kylie! Hey," Kenny hisses, "sorry for scaring you, I'm kinda stuck."

She crouches so she can face him and talk. "What are you doing down there?"

"I've been all over the mountain trying to catch this guy at the Sanatorium. He...Marjorine's dead."

"Oh, shit. Kenny, I'm so sorry."

"Yeah, thanks...what happened with you?"

"A long story. Hang tight, I'll come get you."

Kylie leaves the room, finding her backpack hanging next to the barricaded door and taking it before letting Kenny in.

"Hey, you look like hell," she says.

He laughs. "Thanks."

"I'm gonna change, so no peeking."

"I am a man of honour," he turns around.

Kylie felt much better wearing actual clothes again.

"Jason's dead," she admits.

"Wait, what!?"

"Yeah, I-I got shown this video that showed it, but it doesn't add up with what I just found so...I don't know!"

The sound of Erica screaming and a gunshot sent them running in that direction.

Kenny forces the door open, and they enter in time to see Psycho approach Stacy and Erica, both still alive and still trapped.

Stacy tries to shoot him, but nothing happens.

"Oh come on, it's like you haven't heard of blanks," Psycho says.

He takes off his mask, revealing himself to be Jason.

Henrietta wasn't expecting to wake up.

Never mind waking up and hanging over a deadly fall zone.

She manages to swing herself over to a ladder, grabbing on right before the rope around her leg breaks.

Climbing to more solid ground, she then has to run before the tower falls on her.

"Fuck, okay, not dying today then."

Henrietta rips off part of her shirt, tying it to a stick and using oil then fire to make a torch.

With a source of light, she goes into the mine caverns and heads for the elevator.

Since it's busted and also her only hope, Henrietta searches for a power source.

There's a scream and a blast of fire she can see in the distance, taking these as signs to hurry.

But while climbing up to a higher level, the ladder gives in and she falls.

This one didn't kill her, just left her bruised.

"Fuck me, how many times am I gonna fall tonight?" she groans.

She reaches for her phone and uses it as her new light source.

While searching for a way out, Henrietta finds a rock wall and a ladder which gets her up a bit.

Her phone dies in the tunnels but she finds her fire torch again, as well as the power switch.

The lights won't work but she hopes the elevator will.

In a more well lit room is an icy slope leading to above ground, but it can't be climbed.
