(A/N: thanks Madi for helping me decide how this should end. I might end up doing the other ending because even if it's only like one tiny detail, it's an ending where I can stir up a lot of angst for my two favourites)
It's the final hour.
Jason is alive and unwell, suffering mentally with images of his sisters and his friends and his therapist going through his head.
He walks through the mines, facing a decayed Crystal and a decayed Amber speaking to him.
They taunt him, saying he's alone and why did he not save them, why did he want them to die.
Going further through the mines, Jason sees the walls as a knife cutting through pig skin.
He then sees a squealing pig come out of the walls.
When he punches it, the pig falls to the ground and dies but it won't end there.
The pig's entrails move on the ground, Amber and Crystal emerging from them.
Jason just yells that they are dead.
A Wendigo face emerges from the mine walls, and he stares at it in fear.

Kylie and Kenny travel through the mines with Wolfie.
"I can't believe those things used to be people," she says.
"Me neither. And they come from down here, there was a mine rescue: 12 out of 30, no one to go near them. Wouldn't shock me if they had all turned and eaten the others," he replied.
Kylie finds a dug up grave and Amber's watch next to it.
"Oh god...I think Amber was buried here. Henrietta said she found her head down here, someone buried her and then dug her up."
"Jesus, that's fucked up. What about Crystal?"
"Nothing, but she said there was signs Crystal was alive."
"Well....maybe we'll find out more on our way," Kenny picks up Wolfie and goes into the water.
Kylie is hesitant. "Are you sure it's okay?"
"I'm not dead yet," Kenny shrugs.
"Famous last words."
She does get in.
The two climb out at the part with the water wheel.
Kylie finds a journal in Crystal's handwriting and reads through it.
What she finds helps to confirm Henrietta's theory based on the clues she found.
"It's true, holy shit. Amber died in the fall and Crystal survived. She was down here for days, and she was starving, she...she dug up Amber."
Kenny pieces it together. "Fuck, no. No way."
"We need to find Jason! We need to find him right now!"
The two and Wolfie get back in the water, heading for a metal door that Kylie manages to get open.
Water gushed out along with bodies, a lot of them, so many.
Kylie is freaked out, but also glad to see her brother isn't one of them.
Neither of them see the Wendigo watching them, some distance behind them in the water.
"Wait, look!" Kenny points to the wooden boards.
Kylie looks through to see Jason.
She finds a door and they make it through to him, slowly getting closer.
