viva la vida...
Alex woke up in a golden room, the sun peeking through her curtains. She closed her eyes again, shoving her face into the fluffy pillows. She sighed happily as she got out of bed, standing on the balcony overlooking the sea. The salty smell wafted through the air, and she grinned.
A knock rang through her room, and she ran to the door. A lady faun stood, smiling shyly. "Hello, my lady. I was sent to dress you."
Alex smiled. "Thank you, but there's really no need-"
"Aslan himself asked me."
Alex nodded knowingly. "Alright. Come in."
...
Alex played with her dress, twirling around as she watched it wave delicately. A voice broke through her dancing. "Having fun?"
She stopped and turned around to see Edmund and Susan. She laughed. "I could get used to this Su."
She nodded. "So could I."
Edmund laughed. "You two are going to be insufferable."
Alex shoved him, walking towards the throne room. "Shut it."
The hallways were easy to become lost in, but thankfully Alex dedicated a portion of her short time here to memorizing the way the castle was structured. She turned right once more, and there stood Lucy and Peter. Alex grinned. "Hello there."
Lucy ran towards her, and Alex picked her up, spinning her around. Lucy giggled. "You look pretty Alex."
Peter cleared his throat, smiling shyly. "Gorgeous."
Alex turned bright red, setting Lucy down. She smiled gratefully. "Thank you, Peter." She walked up to him, whispering in his ear. "You look quite dashing yourself."
A deep voice echoed through the chamber. "Am I interrupting?"
Giggles echoed through the chamber. Alex backed away from Peter's ear, shaking her head. She stared at the ground, knowing that Peter's siblings were all looking at her teasingly.
Aslan laughed. "Shall we?" He stood in front of them, putting them in line accordingly. "Edmund, then Peter, Alexandra, Susan, and lastly," he smiled at the young girl. "Lucy." He stepped back and nodded at the centaurs in front of the doors.
The throne room was filled to the brim as they followed Aslan down the aisle. The whole of the Narnian army was there, along with Mr.Tumnus and the Beavers. They stepped up to the podium, and turned around, right in front of their thrones.
Aslan began the crowning ceremony. "To the Glistening Eastern Sea, I give you Queen Lucy, the Valiant." Mr.Tumnus placed her crown carefully upon her head. "To the Great Western Wood, King Edmund the Just." Susan grinned, as Mr.Tumnus approached her. "To the Radiant Southern Sun, Queen Susan, the Gentle."
Alexandra held her breath as Mr.Tumnus approached her. She smiled quickly as he held her crown. Aslan continued. "The Noble Seer of Old, High Queen Alexandra, the Passionate." She knelt down, and Mr.Tumnus placed the crown upon her head. She rose, and the faun grinned at her. He whispered. "Congratulations."
