Lucy groaned, leaning her head back against the side of the train. "How much longer?"

Edmund smirked, nudging his sister's side. "Reminds me of the last train ride we took."

Lucy tilted her head, thoroughly confused. "But the last train ride was when we-"

Edmund widened his eyes, making a face towards his parents. "Not that one. The one we took to Professor Digory's house."

Lucy nodded knowingly. "I guess you're right."

Mrs. Pevensie smiled. "I'm so glad you children enjoyed your time there. I was so worried you would-" She shook her head. "I'm glad it was a good retreat."

Peter nodded, pulling Alex closer to his side. "It was a wonderful time."

Alex smiled, kissing his cheek. "Couldn't agree more."

Mr. Pevensie smiled at the couple. "You two have no idea how pleasantly surprised I was to hear that you were dating, even more so when you became engaged." He laughed, looking at his wife. "Remember when they were little, they would fight like cats and dogs?"

Helen laughed, nodding. "Never got along. They only did when they were bossing the little ones around. Or taking care of Lucy." Her eyes welled with tears. "And now you've given us a grandchild..."

Peter grinned. "She's perfect." He looked down, almost laughing at how red Alex's face was. "You're perfect."

Edmund rolled his eyes. "Enough with the mush. It's almost our stop." He stood up, glaring playfully. "I cannot witness this any longer."

Peter stood up as well, holding out his hand. "My lady."

Alex swore she was back in Narnia for a moment, and she grinned widely, placing her hand in his. "My lord."

Lucy smiled. "I have to say you two are a rather magnificent couple."

Alex smirked. "Magnificent, really? I'd say passionate has a better ring to it."

Her husband laughed, shaking his head. "I wholeheartedly disagree."

Edmund leaned forward, whispering. "Would you just stop it?"

Lucy sighed. "There's no fun way to slip valiant into a sentence, is there?"

Edmund shook his head. "Afraid not, Lu."

The siblings bickered, but not maliciously, to pass the time. Alex smiled up at her husband, holding onto his arm tightly. "What if we..."

He smirked, whispering in her ear. "I thought you'd never ask."

She sighed, leaning her head on his shoulder. "I love you..."

He looked down, tilting his head. "Are you alright, love? You look pale."

She laughed, opening her mouth to speak when a wave of nausea fell over her. "Perhaps I need to-" Her eyes rolled back, and she fell to the ground, her family yelling out.

"Alex!" Lucy knelt, feeling her forehead. "She's burning up."

Peter shook his head, holding her gently. "She was fine this morning, I swear."

Alex drifted in and out of their conversation, eventually seeing black. She saw flashes of a crash, screaming, crying, and the train- She gasped, sitting up quickly and pushing herself out of Peter's arms.

"We- We need to get off the train."

Peter whispered. "Did you have a-"

"No time for talking. We need to get off." She stood up quickly, running to the front. "Please stop the train!"

The conductor laughed, shaking his head. "No can do love."

Alex's heart beat fast, and she glared at the older man. "Stop the train or I-"

Peter put an arm around her shoulders, laughing awkwardly. "We only ask, sir, because my sister has gone into labor."

The conductor smiled, slowing down the train. "Well, why didn't you say so?"

The doors opened, and Alex grabbed Peter and Lucy's hands and pulled them along. "Edmund, keep up!"

He groaned but walked faster anyway. "Alex, are you quite well?"

Once they were off the train and it restarted, she sat down, staring at the ground. "I didn't see the whole of it, but I swear... the train derailed and you all." She gasped, "We all died."

Peter sat beside her, rubbing her back gently. "Deep breaths, my love."

Mrs. Pevensie tilted her head. "Didn't see the whole of what, dear?"

Mr. Pevenise nodded. "Can one of you children explain what is going on?" He held a confused, curious look on his face. "What is going-"

A loud crash rang through the air, and their heads whipped towards the track. Alex's hand flew over her mouth, and she sobbed. "Oh my-"

Peter hugged her tightly, whispering in her ear. "It's alright, love. We're safe, that's all that matters." He kissed her temple, closing his eyes tightly. "We're alright."

Lucy smiled, hugging Edmund from the side. "I believe this is the first time your vision has worked out in our favor."

Mr. Pevensie sighed. "Children? Explain please."
