the year 1013...

Alexandra woke up abruptly, jumping out of bed. She ran to the bathroom and puked into the chamberpot. So much for a relaxing day. Susan had just left for her diplomatic mission with Calmoren, and Peter and Alex thought they would take a day to relax. She wiped off her face and cleaned her mouth before climbing back into bed. Peter reached out, pulling her into him. "Morning, love."

She smiled, turning in his arms. "Morning, Peter." He opened his eyes slowly, smiling at the woman before him. "You are a sight for sore eyes."

She laughed, shoving his chest. "Shut it. Sleep well?"

He smirked, pulling her closer. "Very. And yourself?"

She rolled her eyes. "I slept soundly."

He laughed, rolling over, bringing her with him. "I'd say you slept better than that." She grinned. "Don't get too big of a head there Pevensie." She pulled herself out of his arms and put on her robe. Peter sat up straight and stared at her as she got dressed. "How is it you become even more ravishing every time I look at you?"

She smirked. "How is it you become even more annoying every time I look at you?"

He scoffed. "I just complimented you."

"I know dear."

"Typically one gets a compliment in return."

"Yes, typically." She smiled lovingly at him. "What is it you want for breakfast? I'll go get some from the dining room."

"Sausage, eggs, and biscuits please."

She nodded, slipping on her shoes. "I'll be back."

He yelled after her. "I'll be here."

She walked down the hall, smiling at the servants as she passed by. She hummed contently, opening the dining room door. "Good morning Lu. Ed."

Lucy smirked. "I'm sure it is a good morning."

Edmund laughed. "Good one Lu." Alexandra laughed, glaring at the youngest Pevensie. "So hilarious Lucy."

She grabbed two plates, filling them up with food. Edmund rolled his eyes. "Peter too lazy to leave bed again?"

"That would be it." She waved goodbye to them and opened the doors again. Her stomach gurgled, and she picked up the pace. She couldn't be puking in the hallway. People would think something was wrong, and she didn't need anyone worrying over her. She pushed their bedroom door open and gave Peter his plate quickly.

He smiled. "Thank you, dear." His eyebrows furrowed. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine. Why do you ask?"

He laughed. "You look green."

Her stomach gurgled again, and he looked at her skeptically. "Are you sure you're-"

"YES! I'm fine!" She smiled, although she did feel as if she had to puke again. "I'm- I'm-" She ran to the bathroom. "I'll be right back." She shut the door and locked it before running up to the chamberpot. If she hadn't already been feeling queasy, the smell of the pot would have made her vomit. A knock rang through the bathroom. "Alex? Are you alright?"
