(Y/n) pov - afternoon the next day

I've been on edge all day.
nervous to meet Bakugou's parents. I'm sure they'll be great, but what if they don't like me? Normally I don't care about pleasing adults, but I feel like this is different.
It doesn't help that I slept like shit last night. The clearing was big enough for us all to sleep separately, and sleeping alone just felt lonely after spending the previous night with Katsuki. I hope it was just last night because I can't sleep with him every night. In fact it will probably never happen again.
I tear myself away from the depressing thoughts and look out below the hill we've stopped on. Migrator's Branch. We've made it, and it's truly remarkable. None of us speak as we stand atop the hill, taking it all in.
It's a maze of alleyways with trading stands set up along the sides of every path. There are several large taverns that seem to also serve as motels, and rows of cabins are set up in the middle, probably the homes of the traders that maintain permanent residence in the Branch.
Adults fill the streets, traveling from trading cart to trading cart. Children and teenagers up to our age run around the outside of the Branch, playing games like tag. This place seems much more lively than the village I saw in my kingdom before Midoriya and I fled.
I look to my side to see Kiri's eyes light up as he cups his hands around his mouth and shouts loud enough for me to have to cover my ears. "Mina!" He runs down the hill towards a trip of people who stop at the sound of his approach.
"Eijiro!" A girl with pink hair runs towards him and jumps into his arms as he twirls her around and they laugh.
I lean toward Bakugou and gesture at the pair. "Are they together?"
"Ha!" He laughs. "They would be if Shitty hair had the balls to ask her."
I roll my eyes and the three of us make our way down the hill toward Kiri and the group of mystery people. "Bakugou!" The three strangers greet him and he just grunts. There's the girl, a boy with bright yellow hair, and one with black.
     "Hi," I say, waving shyly.
they direct their attention to me and Midoriya and the girl seems to get a little sad when she sees me. She probably thinks I like Kiri, I'll have to clear that up with her later. "Hey. My name's Hanta Sero," the black-haired boy waves back. "And this is Mina Ashido and Denki Kaminari."
The other two smile at Midoriya and I. "I'm Izuku Midoriya and this is (y/n)."
"It's nice to meet you guys," they all say.
Kiri laughs. "Not gonna flirt with her Kaminari? Wow, you have changed."
Ashido smiles and elbows Kaminari. "Someone here got himself a boyfriend."
Denki blushes for a minute before grinning. "Ya, he's amazing! He's taking a nap right now, he's kind of an introvert. You guys will get to meet him later though, we're all having dinner at your parent's house Bakugou. That is where you're headed right?"
"Unfortunately," Bakugou mumbles. "Might as well get going, get this over with." He starts walking into the Branch and we all follow behind. Since Kiri is walking with Sero and Kaminari I decided it's a good time to approach Mina.
"Hey! Can I walk with you?" I ask and she sends me a small smile. "Cool. Well, I just want to let you know that I don't have any interest in Kiri romantically, and I think it's pretty obvious that he likes you. I just thought I would let you know cause I can see us being pretty good friends."
Her steps falter a bit before falling into rhythm with mine as she gets back into her probably usual good-spirited attitude. "Is it that obvious that I like him?" She rubs the back of her neck and laughs nervously.
"Yep. Super obvious. I won't say anything by the way, but you should. You guys would be really cute together."
She blushes and chuckles. "Well, what about you and Bakugou huh?"
I panic and turn away to hide my blush. "W-what gave you that impression?!"
"Well, you said you don't like Eijirou that way, and Midoriya just screams gay." She laughs and I join in.
"I happen to know that Midoriya is indeed gay. I mean he hasn't admitted it or anything, but he was blushing like crazy at the mention of a childhood friend he used to have."
"Ok, but don't go changing the subject. You like Bakugou right?" She wiggles her eyebrows at me.
"Ugh... yes," I mumble and she grins.
"I knew it! We have to get you two together. I'll get Kaminari to help. Since he started dating Shinsou he's stopped flirting and now acts like a matchmaker. Oh, and we're besties now," she says, slinging her arm over my shoulders.
I laugh. "That sounds great," I say as we continue walking to Bakugou's house Everyone is making joyful conversation, catching up on the years they missed with each other.
