Bakugou pov - almost 3 pm, the day of the wedding

I'm crouched down on an upper balcony of the wedding venue. The giant room has vaulted ceilings and two balcony-like areas above where the guests are sitting. I'm up there, trying not to be spotted and waiting for my cue to jump from the beams over the aisle and beat the shit out of anyone who gets in the way of me getting (y/n) back.
The rest of the "rescue team" are standing against the wall on either side of the double doors where (y/n) will make her entrance. They were able to convince the guards that they are the caterers and are now standing in chef outfits, pretending to wait for their time to serve the food.
I'm not allowed to be down there because one of the guards on duty for the wedding happens to be one of the guards who captured (y/n), the youngest one. Deku would be up here with me too if there was enough room because people know of (y/n)'s "curly green-haired friend", but we were able to get him a wig.
I admit I'm relieved u don't have to wear those ridiculous disguises, and a wig, and worry about keeping my weapon hidden. I'm wearing my usual pants, no shirt, and carrying a sword in each hand, one for me, and one for (y/n). Once I make an appearance, my first task will be to remove (y/n)'s skirt and hand her a sword. It's a good thing her maids will have her wearing flexible pants under the skirt, along with flats in replace of heels. I'm snapped out of my thoughts as I hear the double doors opening to reveal (y/n) ready to walk down the aisle. I cautiously lift my head above the railing of the balcony to get a peak. I know it's going to be hard watching her almost marry that half-n-half bastard, but I can't take my eyes off of her. She looks good in everything she wears, but the wedding dress is hitting different.

(Y/n) pov - 3 pm, the day of the wedding

I take a deep breath and wipe the remainder of the tears from my eyes as two guards open the doors, revealing me to everyone in attendance. My father walks up to me and holds his arm out. I loop mine with his and we make our way down the aisle. My maids give me reassuring nods as we come to a stop at the end, and I step up to stand with Todoroki.
I turn my attention to the groom to keep myself from lashing out at the girls. How could they possibly be happy right now?! I'm just left disappointed though as I see he seems just as okay with this as them. What the heck is going on, isn't he gay?!
I don't pay much attention to what the man leading the wedding is saying until he tells Todoroki to begin his vows. "I've come up with my own, I hope that's okay," he says politely. What? I finally focus, waiting for what he has to say. I glance around the room for everyone's reaction and see that his father does not seem pleased.
As my gaze wanders back to the doors I emerged from, I notice something familiar about the caterers. Red and pink hair... Kirishima and Mina! Eyebags and messy lilac hair next to yellow hair and eyes... Shinsou and Kaminari! Black hair... Sero! The last caterer has green eyes but blonde hair... Midoriya with a wig?!
I turn back to Todoroki to see him smiling with a glint in his eyes. What is going on? Why are they here? Is this a rescue mission? Then where is Katsuki? My heart sinks and I almost collapse in despair, but Todoroki brings my attention back to him by clearing his throat. Right, I can't get distracted, I'm supposed to be getting married.
"Relax, he's up there," Todoroki whispers to me, tilting his head toward the beams above the aisle. I look up to see Katsuki walk across one of the beams before jumping down into the aisle. Relief floods over me as the guests and guards all gasp in shock. "Now!" Todoroki shouts.
The "caterers" pull weapons put from beneath their outfits and start dueling with the guards while the guests run out the double doors, all except the two kings and my maids. I turn back to stare at Katsuki as he charges at me and Todoroki rips away the skirt of my wedding dress, allowing me to move freely in my pants.
"What the hell was that half-n-half?!"
"You have your hands full, and I didn't want to risk you cutting her," Todoroki explains.
"Whatever, we don't have time for this. Do you have a weapon?" Katsuki asks, handing me one of the swords. Todoroki shakes his head and Bakugou sighs, handing him the other one. "I'm better with my fists anyway."
We split up to help fight the guards. As much as I just want to be in his arms and tell him how much I missed him, now isn't the time. I'm fighting off a guard when my back hits a wall. Dammit! I let myself get cornered.
I cringe, expecting to feel a blade against my skin, or at least to be restrained. Instead, I open my eyes to see the young guard who spared Katsuki fighting the other guard, and winning! He knocks the sword from the bad guard's hands, forcing the bested soldier to run from the room in defeat.
The young guard then walks up to me and bows. "I apologize for any part I have played in allowing this wedding to take place. I knew it wasn't right to force two people to marry, but I was going to let it happen anyways. I hope you can forgive me and I look forward to aiding you in any way I can from now on."
I sigh in relief and give the guard a small smile. "I forgive you, and thank you for not allowing Katsuki to be killed back at the river. What is your name?"
"Tenya Iida, your highness," he salutes and I giggle.
"No need to be so formal Iida, call me   (y/n). Now we should get back to escaping," I encourage, remembering the battle that is still going on around us. He nods and we team up to fight off more of the guards. I'm better with a bow than a sword and probably shouldn't try fighting alone again.
As Iida is chasing away the fifth guard we've fought, I notice that the rest of the "rescue team" are finishing off the remainder of their battles as well. The only obstacles left in the room are mine and Todoroki's fathers. The kings. King Todoroki is prepared to strike, but my father seems to be hesitating.
I take a deep breath and prepare to talk some sense into my father. Before I can even get a word out King Enji charges at his son, sword at the ready. Everyone gasps as Midoriya steps in front of Todoroki and uses his sword to block King Enji's blow. "I'm not going to let you hurt him anymore!" Midoriya shouts with determination and hatred.
The king's eyes narrow and he somehow manages to look even angrier than before. "Now I know where I've seen you before. Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugou. I always knew you two were a bad influence on my Shoto. I had hoped we'd never see you again after you're village went up in flames. I don't know how you survived but I guess I'll just have to get rid of you myself to make sure you can never get in the way of my plans for my son ever again."
My eyes widen as Midoriya and King Enji start fighting. There's no way Izuku can take him, I habe to find a way to help him somehow. "(Y/n)! Use this!" I hear my father's advisor call to me from the entrance to the venue. I turn my head in his direction to see him sliding a bow and arrows toward me. "Remember what I taught you, you're a natural."
He smiles at me one last time before rushing back out the door. "He's running away with Mic, looks like everyone's getting their happy ending," Momo reassures me. Although I'll never see my preferred father figure again, at least I know he's happy, and he's left me with a parting gift.
I pick up the bow and an arrow, placing it in firing position before aiming it at King Todoroki. "Stop!" I yell, getting everyone's attention and causing all eyes to turn to me. "Why are you doing this? Why is this marriage so important to you?!" I question the king. He scoffs and rolls his eyes.
"You won't get an answer out of him, because if your father knew my old man's real reason for joining our kingdoms, he would have canceled the wedding himself," Shoto says, causing my father and I to frown in confusion. "My whole life I've obeyed his every order, never standing up for myself. He's treated me like a puppet, not a son. He arranged this union of kingdoms in hopes that he could continue controlling me. If this had all gone according to his plan, I may have become king of both kingdoms, but he would have been the one truly in power. This was his way of taking over your father's kingdom without force, to save his reputation."
King Todoroki is shaking with anger at his son's betrayal, not even bothering to deny anything Shoto said. My father seems just as angry, drawing his sword with a sigh. "Get out of here (y/n). This union is no longer taking place, therefore there is no reason for me to keep you here. Run away, live your life with these people who make you happy, and don't look back. If this king wants to take over my kingdom he's going to have to go through me. I'm sorry for putting you through all of this."
I smile slightly at my father, keeping my bow aimed at King Enji while my friends start making their way outside. "Let's go," Katsuki says, guiding me to the exit after everyone else is out. I look back one more time to see my father's sword clashing with his rival's.
"I can't believe we all made it back with no major injuries," I say as we meet up with the rest of our group. We stand in comfortable silence for a few moments as I take in the sight of all of my friends together. My maids Momo, Ururaka and Tsu. I can't believe I thought they would betray me. They weren't happy I was marrying a man I don't love, they were happy that they had the plan to keep that from happening.
Mina, Sero, Kaminari, and Shinsou. I haven't known them for very long but they've already become such good friends. They were willing to risk their lives to save me from a lifetime of misery.
Todoroki and Iida. They turned against the people they've spent so long serving to make things right.
Kiri, Midoriya and Katsuki. Words can't begin to describe how much I appreciate them. All of them. They've become my chosen family, each one of them playing an important role. I love them all so much.
"So what now?" Todoroki asks, breaking the silence.
"We find a place to live. Are we traveling together or going our separate ways?" Izuku says.
The girls, Iida, and Todoroki all shrug. "Why not stick together?" Momo suggests.
"Great, more people," Katsuki grumbles, earning a warning glance from me. "Well we should start by heading back to the Branch, the old hag is probably going crazy."
I shove him playfully. "Don't call Mitsuki a hag, she's a wonderful mother!"
"Well if you like her so much, why don't you just make her your mother," he growls under his breath.
"That's not a very manly way to propose Bakubro," Kiri fake scolds his friend, laughing hysterically. My face gets hot from embarrassment and Katsuki hits Kirishima on the head.
I chuckle uncomfortably and Shinsou changes the subject. "Maybe we should get going. It's a couple of days walk back to Migrator's Branch and we should get started before the sun goes down."
We all nod in agreement and begin the journey back to the Bakugou house. I really hope this trip won't be awkward, I think as I steal a glance at Katsuki.
