Nagising ako dahil sa pakiramdam ko sa tiyan. Agad akong tumakbo sa banyo at nagsuka. Patuloy na humihilab ang tiyan ko, hindi tumigil ang loob ko sa pagsuka.

"Fuck..." sumandal ako sa pader dahil sa pagod.

May masama ba akong nakain nung isang araw? Sa pagkakatanda ko naman ay wala. I grabbed my phone to call Emma. Malapit lang naman ang tirahan niya sa akin, magpapabili akong gamot dahil hindi kaya ito ng katawan ko ngayon.

"Ems..."

"Good morning! Lacey boo!"

"Busy ka ba?"

"Hmm? Hindi naman, kasama ni Ardie ang daddy niya kaya hindi ko na siya inasikaso. What's up?"

"I'm feeling dizzy... and I just vomited."

"What?! Hala, sandali lang. I will drive there! Ako na rin bahala sa duty mo!"

She hang up on the phone as I made my way to the shower. Nandidiri ako sa sarili pero napaduwal na naman ako. Hinawakan ko ang ulo at sinikap na makaligo.

Pagdating ni Emma ay nakaligo na ako at humiga sa kama. My breasts feel sensitive. Pagtingin ko rin sa calendar ko ay halos tatlong buwan na akong di dinadatnan.

"What happened? Something you ate?" Emma got my temperature to see if I have a fever. Wala naman daw.

"I don't know... I just woke up feeling sick."

"Feeling sick," she repeated. "How many days have you been feeling it?"

"Around three days now. The first ones were not that severe. Itong umaga lang ang pinakamalala..."

"It's not your disorder naman, no?" Emma asked. "I mean you told me... you don't feel that way anymore."

Natahimik ako rito. If that came back, then I better just go back to hating myself again.

"My breasts don't feel sensitive back then when I vomit..."

She nodded. May nasa isip niya pero hindi niya ito sinasabi sa akin. I raised a brow. Emma is into Orthopedics and whatever it is I am feeling now is not her specialty.

"What?"

"I have a thought, but... it's impossible."

"Why is it impossible?" I crossed my arms.

"Because... I know..." she trailed off and sighed heavily. "I know you wouldn't have sex unless you got married so..."

Umawang ang labi ko. Does she mean?

"Are you saying that I'm possibly... pregnant?"

She bit her lip and nodded.

"I didn't wanna tell you because I know what you've gone through before! I noticed you got a little bit of added weight..."

My heart stopped.

"Please, don't take it the wrong way! I went through what you're experiencing right now and all the signs that's showing is that you are pregnant, but that's impossible, right?"

Shit. Hindi alam ni Emma ang nangyari sa amin ni Gray kaya akala niya'y hindi ko pa nagagawa ito.

"What if... I really am?"

Natawa siya rito. "What are you, a virgin mary?"

Napalunok ako't tumingin sa kanya. She stopped laughing.

"Oh my god," she said. "You already had sex with Caven?"

I shook my head.

"What? Then who? Lacey, why didn't you tell me this!"
