A couple of months had passed since I had seen Chris and i'd be lying if I said I never missed him. We haven't really been in contact apart from liking a couple of Instagram posts here and there.

I bite the bullet and like a rom-com I pack my suitcase and begin my journey to LA. As I walk out LAX airport I stop and think what am I doing? I need to see Chris and make amends. I drop my suitcase off at the apartment grabbing some water from the fridge and get straight in an Uber to Chris house. Hopefully i'll be a pleasent surprise.

I thank my driver and climb out the car, the hot August sun burns my skin as I press the call button on the gate patiently waiting to be let in, I know for sure that Chris is home because his Black Audi is sat on the driveway.

"Hello?" My heart drops as the familiar female voice answers, I don't respond instead I take off down the street. How could I ever be so stupid to think Chris would want to be with me, he's probably been with Charlotte since the premier. As i'm walking down the street a car slowly starts to follow me, could this day get any better? I'm probably going to get kidnapped and murdered.

"Shan?" I stop in my tracks and frown when I hear his voice, turning around i'm faced with him sat in a Black Audi with sunglasses covering his eyes. "Seb?".

Sebastian was the last person I was expecting to bump into in LA considering he lives in New York. He climbs out the car pulling me into a warm hug, after the traveling and the day i've had, I just needed a hug.

"When did you get back? I seen you were home for a while" he asks as he lets me go. "Arrived back a couple of hours ago, have you gave up on New York and moved here?" I ask curious. "I'd never give up on New York, it's home. I was just visiting to clear the rest of my thing's out of Ella's apartment, turns out she's been cheating with some other guy" Sebastian shrugs with sad eyes. "I'm really sorry Seb, how about we go for lunch? I'll buy to cheer you up?". Sebastian smiles before breathing out a laugh, "I'll buy lunch, you bought it last time". We climb into Sebastian's rental car and make our way downtown to find somewhere for lunch.

After lunch Sebastian dropped me off home. I was glad to have my friend back for at least for a little while it was unfortunate about his relationship but I never liked Ella since our encounter at the gym. For the rest of the evening I ponder around the apartment, speaking with my lawyer earlier we arranged a meeting to discuss Immigrating to the US.
