Half Way To Fifty

My eyes flicker open as the sun beams in the window, I rub my eyes I climb out of bed making my way through the apartment - I needed coffee. I'm stopped in my tracks and I gaso as I look at my open plan kitchen. Sitting on the counter was a beautiful vase of Roses, behind them were two huge '25' Rose Gold balloons and a couple of love heart ones on the ceiling. Not a second later the apartment door opens and Sebastian comes in with Starbucks and a huge white cake with 'Happy 25th Birthday' written on it in Rose Gold to match my balloons.

"Hey! Happy Birthday!" Seb shouts as he puts the coffee and cake down holding his arms out for me, I pretty much jump into his arms wrapping my arms and legs around him, he catches me from falling as I nuzzle my head into his neck. He laughs before pulling his head back worried. "Hey, are you crying?" He asks running his fingers through my hair before planting me on my feet. I sniffle wiping my eyes, "it's amazing what you've done, thank you so much!".

Of course we were going to a club tonight for my big birthday, I post a photo of my short black dress with a large cut out at the breasts on Instagram captioning it 'Half Way To Fifty' and almost instantly I get an incoming call from Chris. My friends walk ahead a little to give me some privacy to talk to Chris.

I sigh and answer the phone "Hi Chris...". "Hey! Happy Birthday, you never told me you were back in LA...". "Thank you, yeah I actually signed the paperwork earlier and I've official immigrated to the US".

After a couple of minutes I tell Chris what nightclub we'll be going to if he wants to come celebrate. We get to the club and Sebastian has booked us a booth covered in balloons and banners. We're all dancing part from Sebastian who's stood talking to Chris at the booth, I never noticed him arriving. I feel a large hand on my waist then snaking around my tummy from behind, Chris leans down shouting Happy Birthday over the music. I smile as I turn around and wrap my arms around his neck pulling him into a tight hug, he lifts me off my feet a little squeezing me before placing me back down.

As the night was getting on we were all getting drunker and drunker, a bottle of Champagne gets delivered to the table and I hand the bartender my credit card but he declines it. "No need, Mr Evan's has left his card. Drinks are on him" he nods to Chris before walking away, Chris pulls me towards him being touchy feely and I would be lying if I said I wasn't melting under his touch but I was still pissed about his kiss with Charlotte. He burys his head in my neck softly planting kisses and I bite my lip trying not to moan but I need to be strong and we need to talk about what happened. Maybe it can wait until we're sober.

Chris is visibly drunk when he takes my hand running it down his chest, inbetween us down his stomach to the bulge in his trousers, I look up at him and he smurks down at me - cocky bastard.

A couple of hours passed and it was time to go, everyone was steaming drunk but we all danced and sung our hearts out. Sebastian seemed to have taken a shine to my friend Callie, they'd been dancing and talking all night and i'm sure I seen them have a little kiss.

Chris wraps his arm around me as we're sorting out the ride home situation. "Do you want to come home with me tonight? Dodge says he misses you..." Chris whispers in my ear, my mood changes as the image of Chris and Charlotte fill my brain, I shake my head trying to get the thoughts out but I can imagine them going home, sleeping together and I push Chris away as my head starts to spin. "I'm going home, alone" I make it clear and Chris looks confused before taking my hand in his "Everything ok?" He asks with concerned eyes. I pull my hand out of him and walk away, he's pissing me off more because he's playing dumb making out as if he hasn't done anything wrong.
