"God, I hate traffic." I frown while looking out the window. Hayden laughed a little bit next to me.

"Yeah, well at least you're not driving in it." He told me. I just shrugged while I looked.

Hayden and I were currently on the way to the AirBnB we were staying at for Coachella.

We've been in the car for an hour, sitting in traffic. This is why I'm happy that I brought a couple books with me.

I told Hayden that if he drove there, I would drive back, and he was okay with it.

We had music playing with the windows down. I had my hair pulled back, sunglasses on, and my book and blanket on my lap.

I was taking full advantage of sitting in the passenger seat. Hayden also had his sunglasses on while he drove.

He had his left arm sticking out his window as he drove. I'm just happy that he hasn't brought up the night Devyn, Xepher, and I went out.

So, I wasn't just drunk, Colby was really out at the bar. Apparently he was with some girl and I don't remember the rest of the night.

I ended up blacking out and woke up at Hayden's apartment.

He told me that he drove me to the apartment because he wanted to make sure I was safe.

We haven't really talked about it much so I'm thankful for that. It takes a couple hours for us to finally get to our AirBnB.

It was a one story, two bedroom house. It was a decent sized house for both of us for the weekend.

There was a big indoor pool in the back, which I liked. Whenever I'm not at Coachella, I wanna be at the pool.

We grabbed our bags and picked out the rooms we wanted. He said that I could have the master bedroom that has a connecting bathroom.

There's another bathroom so we won't have to share. "I was thinking, if you want, we could unpack and then go pick some groceries."

Hayden walked in and flopped on my bed. I laughed a little bit while I took some shirts out of my bag.

"Are we really going to be cooking that much though?" I question. We were mostly going to be at the festival.

We were going to doordash more than anything. "Well, drinks, alcohol, and snack food." He listed off.

It wasn't a horrible idea. "That's a good idea. We can go." He smiled while he got up from my bed.

We unpacked our clothes and other things, making sure everything looks good.

Once I was done putting the room together, I slid my shoes back on. I tell him I'm ready so we head to the nearest grocery store.

We grabbed two different buggies. One for me, one for him. We grabbed two different things of energy drinks.

He grabbed Bang while I grabbed Monster. We grabbed our choice of alcohol and started looking for snack foods.

Looking for the stuff we needed went really well. We got everything we might need until Monday.

We went back to the house knowing we were pretty worn out. "I don't know about you, but I'm sitting by the pool." I tell Hayden.

I put on a black bikini and went outside with my speaker. I turned it on, and started to play music.

It was so hot outside but it felt so good. Hayden joined me outside and we spent the rest of the day in the pool and laying out.

The next day, we woke up around noon. I'm honestly excited about tonight. I get to see Metallica.

We doordashed Burger King for lunch before we started getting ready.
