twelve

Today was sadly our last full day in Maui. I'm gonna miss it. I've honestly had a really good time here.

It felt good to reconnect with Sam and Colby. I was currently the only one awake. I was in the kitchen, making a big family breakfast.

I was making homemade pancakes, bacon, eggs, and french toast. I used to cook breakfast all the time with my mom.

"It smells really good in here." I hear Colby rasp towards me. I look over to see him walking towards me.

I smile a little bit while I continue to cook. "Thanks, I figured I could make a big breakfast for everyone." I smile.

Colby was wearing plaid pajama pants and a black t-shirt. "I can help, if you want." He offered.

I think it would be really fun. "Yeah, that's okay." He smiled as he walked over towards me.

He started working on the Eggs while I worked on the bacon. "Are you sad about us leaving?" He asked as we cooked.

I frowned while I nodded. "Yeah, I love Hawaii. I would definitely come back." I tell him honestly.

"Me too. It's really beautiful." He speaks truthfully. Hawaii really is beautiful. 

I would love to come back here one day. "I know Maya and my dad would love it here." I tell him.

"My parents would love it too." It was nice cooking with Colby. We didn't get in each others way too much.

As we were finishing it, the couple walked in confused. "What's this?" Sam looked at everything.

"I decided to make a big family breakfast and Colby came and helped." I tell them. They both started smiling a little bit.

"This is amazing. Thank you guys." Kat smiled. We all made our plates and started eating.

"So, I saw this thing saying they're doing helicopter tours around the island. I think it'll be fun." Kat spoke.

I almost instantly agreed knowing it'll be fun. I don't know very many people that rode a helicopter over Maui.

"I'm so down. I also wanna get some souvenirs and shop a little bit, if that's okay." I told Maya and Hayden I would bring them back stuff.

We haven't really been shopping since we spent most of it on the beach. They all agreed so that was the plan of today.

We were going to do the helicopter ride over Maui and then shop for souvenirs. Once done with breakfast, we all started getting ready for the day.

I went to the drawer and put on the last outfit of mine that I hadn't worn yet which is white skinny jeans and an orange cami.

I throw a jean jacket on just in case I might need it and do my makeup. Once done with my makeup, I asked Kat if she could french braid my hair.

She seemed more than excited so I sat down in front of her in the living room. "This is gonna look so cute." She beamed.

When she finished, she took a photo and showed me and it did look really good. I asked Kat if she needed any help and she said she was just straightening it.

Twenty minutes later, we were all walking out of the hotel room. Sam said he could drive and since Kat had the directions on her phone, she had shotgun.

Colby and I climbed in the backseat so we could leave. I made sure to look out the window since I don't know the next time I'll be here.

I wanna be able to take everything in while I can. When we get to the place where we're doing the ride and pay for everything.
