nine

I was currently on my way to the boys house. It was currently three in the morning and I was exhausted.

They told me I could stay the night but I figured it would've been too weird if I stayed the night.

They had sent me their address since I had never been there before. When I pulled in, I wasn't surprised by the decent sized house.

I could tell from the outside that it was a little bit smaller from the first traphouse. I could see a couple lights on which is good.

I grab my bags and head to the door. I ring the doorbell since I feel a little bit weird about walking in.

When the door opened, Kat was on the other side. She had her hair up and she was wearing sweats and a hoodie.

She smiled when she noticed it was me. "I'm so happy you could come." She told me as I walked in.

When you walk in, it's a giant ass foyer. There was steps that went upstairs and I guess the back was the rest of the house.

I tiredly smile at her while I look around. "Me too." A door opened from upstairs. I looked to see it was Colby walking out from I guess his room.

He was putting a shirt on as he walked out. He saw that I was standing in the foyer and a small smile came to his face.

I could tell he was tired by the look on his face. "Hey, good morning." He smiled as we walked past us.

"Did you want coffee? I made some coffee." She offered. I couldn't pass up the offer of coffee so I nod my head.

She smiles as she starts walking to the kitchen. Since this is my first time here, I followed her to the kitchen.

Their house was nice from what I could tell. We walked into the kitchen to see Colby grabbing a Redbull.

"You excited for your first Ghost Hunting trip?" He asked making conversation. I sigh while I think about it.

"I'm more nervous than anything." I tell him. She handed me a cup so I gladly took it and brought it to my lips.

"I was nervous too but they know their limits. They won't push too hard." Kat assured me.

It did make me feel a little bit better. The three of us talk in the kitchen while trying to wake ourselves up.

When Sam walks down, we all gather our things while we wait for the Uber to show up.

He ordered an Uber that'll fit everything in the car. Once when it arrives, we all put our stuff in the car and pile in.

We all head to LAX. I was worried about leaving Maya. Owen said that he would stay at the house with her so she's not alone.

Hayden said he would stop by and check to see how they're doing. I should be back Saturday so it's only a few days.

We made sure to thank the Uber driver when we got to the airport and grabbed all of our bags.

We weighed all of our bagss and went through security. It took us a little bit to get through it and find our terminal.

Once we found it, we sat down and waited for our plane to be called. I scrolled through Tik Tok so I could keep myself awake.

Once our flight was finally called, we went and boarded it. Sam and Kat were sitting next to each other while I was sitting next to Colby.

"I have a dual headphone adapter if you wanna watch a movie." Colby suggested once we had sat down and got comfortable.

I smiled at him softly as I look at him. "I was planning on sleeping but if I can't, I'll take you up on that offer." I tell him.

He nodded his head while he searched for a movie to watch. I laid my head on my pillow while I put my earbuds in.

I had music slightly playing as I slowly started to fall asleep. I don't know how long I was asleep.

When I woke up, my head wasn't on the pillow anymore. It had somehow moved over onto Colby's shoulder.

I fully opened my eyes to see he was still watching a movie. I raise my head up and start stretching a little bit.

He noticed I was awake and stopped his movie. "How much longer until we're off?" I asked him.

"Maybe another hour or two." So I've been asleep for like three hours. I grabbed my beats so I could watch a movie with him.

"Mind if I join you?" He smiled a little bit and nodded his head towards me. He was watching Scott Pilgrim which doesn't surprise me.

We watched the movie together. I loved how Colby laughed at the jokes even though he's seen it a million times.

By the time we finished the movie, the plane was landing. I had a window seat so I looked out.

I honestly couldn't wait for this trip. We all got off the plane, happy that I got to stretch my legs.

Kat and I decided to head to baggage claim while the two boys went to get a rental car.

It was currently one pm so I was thrown off a little bit. Time zones are such a weird concept honestly.

We had all our bags once they got the rental car ready. It took us a few minutes to find it and once we did, we packed our car.

Sam looked up the address to the hotel as we piled into the car. I sat in the back with Kat while the boys sat in front.

We drove away, and I couldn't believe how pretty everything was here. I felt like a little kid on Christmas.

I stared out the window in awe. I can't believe it's my first time here. I'm honestly happy I agreed to this trip.

When we get to the hotel, we grab our bags and head inside.

The hotel was big and beautiful so I wondered what the hotel room was going to look like.

"Hi, how can I help you today?" The lady asked at the front desk. We all turned to Sam and let him talk.

"We have a reservation for a suite." He spoke up. She smiled a little bit as she looked at us.

"What's the name?" She asked. Sam told her his name, spelling out his last name.

She typed on her computer, all of us waiting. A moment later she nodded her head.

"Yes, I see it. You're going to be in suite six twenty." She made us a couple keys and handed them to Sam.

We made sure to thank her as we all started walking away. We went into the elevator and hit the sixth floor.

"Did you get us a suite?" I asked Sam as he shrugged a little bit. "I might've splurged a little bit." He tells me.

Once we get to the floor, we head to the room. I was so tired, I was so ready to lay down.

When Sam opened the door, we all walk in. It was a lot bigger than what I thought it was going to be.

There was a full size living room and kitchen when you walk in. There was a balcony and you can tell it was facing the ocean and beach.

"There's three rooms. A master room, and two rooms on the right." Sam explained to us.

Colby and I glance at each other. "Well if you want, you two can take the master room." I say to the couple.

I look at Colby to see he was nodding his head. "Yeah, we can take the other rooms."

We all seemed to agree so we went to our rooms to unpack. It took me ten minutes to unpack everything and once I was done, I went to the balcony.

It was really warm out here, and it was honestly so pretty. There were a lot of people surfing, which you don't see too much.

The door opened which caused me to look. Colby was walking out so I smiled towards him.

"You wanted to look at the view too?" I nodded as he walked next to me. We both stood there for a moment, looking at everything.

This trip is going to be different but fun.
