"You're lucky they're not pressing any charges." My dad said over the phone. I sigh while I look over at Colby.

He had a few cuts and a black eye because of the fight. I had a black eye too so we have matching ones.

People took videos of the fight and have posted it online. Fans of Colby are completely on his side for it.

We're going to put a video out today explaining everything. Stas and Hayden aren't pressing charges on us, luckily.

"I just don't understand why you would do that." My dad said disappointingly.

I think about all the times she was rude to me when I didn't do anything to her.

"You didn't see the way she was treating me or hear the way she was saying to me." I tell him.

He sighed over the phone. I pinch the bridge of my nose from the headache.

"I guess I can't really say much, I've gotten into a few fights in high school." He told me.

He made me promise that I wouldn't do it again so I promised him I wouldn't.

I got off the phone with him and looked at Colby. "Are you okay?" I ask him.

He started smiling a little bit towards me. "It felt so good beating his ass." He told me.

I smiled a little bit as I agreed with him. I then frowned a little bit as I look at him.

"We should film the video." I tell him. He nodded as he looked over towards me.

We set the camera up and started filming. We both sighed and looked at each other before we spoke.

"We got some stuff to explain, so let's start at the beginning." He spoke. I decided I should speak first.

"Back in the summer of twenty eighteen, my sister and I moved here. I didn't really start hanging out with the boys until September." I start.

He was quiet while I spoke. "The more I hung out with them, the closer the two of us got." I looked over at Colby.

"We ended up talking romantically, which some of you guys saw if you've been here that long." He spoke for me.

I watched him as he spoke. "That's when Sam and I went on the trip to Florida where we almost died and got arrested." He spoke.

"The same day he got arrested, my dad called saying I needed to come because of my mom being sick." I spoke up again.

"I had no idea he had been arrested until I was on the way to the airport with my sister." I look back over at Colby.

"I had no idea what was going on with her until I had already texted her that I needed space." He looked sad for a moment.

Honestly, I was too. "I told her I needed space because I wasn't in the right head space for a relationship." He explained.

"And after my mom passed away a couple days later, I needed space too so that's where Hayden came in." I speak.

"As some of you know, Hayden was my neighbor growing up. He helped me with my mom's passing and eventually moved out here."

I hated talking about him, but I knew I needed to. "Since we spent so much time together, I guess he gained feelings for me, but kept quiet."

Colby didn't like hearing it, I could tell. "But since I was still grieving and getting back in the right head space, I never picked up the signs." Colby was staring at me.

"Two years go by and it's time for Coachella." We make eye contact for a second.

"Colby and myself ran into each other and we made up for shutting each other." I explain.

"After that, we started hanging out more, went to Hawaii and realized our feelings really never went away." Colby explains.

I started smirking a little bit knowing we were about to call Hayden out for his Bs.

If he wants to speak his mind to the public without talking to me or Colby first so that's what we were going to do.

"Hayden overheard me talking about how we're taking things slow and he wouldn't let me explain." I start out.

"He shut me out for two weeks when he knew I was getting hate, and he just shows up to the party with the girl he knew didn't like me."

I think that's the part that upsets me the most about the whole situation.

It makes me feel betrayed by him honestly. "And that's where we are now." We both sigh at the same time.

"Look, neither of us condone violence, but we couldn't stand by anymore." Colby stated to the camera.

He was thinking of the right words to say. "Fighting wasn't the best option we could've done, but we never started this." He explained.

"Between the fans hating Ren or Hayden and Stas causing drama, we just want to let it go." He pleaded.

"Hopefully, this does." We both sigh as we finish the video. He stood up and turned the camera off.

He looked at me while taking the drive out. "I'm gonna edit this and get it up." He told me.

I nodded while I looked around. I'm starving and needed food so I told him I was going downstairs.

I could hear Kat, Maya, and Sam talking in the kitchen when I walked in. They turned to me, looking at my black eye.

"Damn, what's up Mike Tyson?" Sam asked laughing at me. I just rolled my eyes while I laughed a little bit.

"The one punch she did get in, she got you pretty good." Kat looked at my black eye.

I grabbed a water bottle from the fridge to help my dry throat. "Yeah, I just wanna see what she looks like." I laughed a little bit.

"How pissed off is dad?" Maya spoke up. I just shrugged while I looked at her. "He was at first but he calmed down a little bit." I answer.

She shook her head towards me a little bit. "Where's Colby? How rough does he look?" Kat asked as I gulped down some more water.

"He looks really rough. He's editing the video right now." I answer. They all looked at me confused.

"Video?" Sam asked confused. I explained ho we made a video explaining everything, how we met, got feelings, pushed each other away, and reconnected.

They nodded their heads, thinking of something. "Well, hopefully it shows the fans that Hayden's in the wrong." Kat spoke.

Maya was shaking her head. "I just can't believe he did that shit." May said in disbelief.

I honestly agreed. I couldn't believe he did it either. We hung out downstairs for a little bit.

Sam doordashed food for all of us, us paying him for him back. As we waited, I heard footsteps come down the steps and reveal Colby.

They all gasped when they looked at his face. "Damn, he fucked you up." Maya half joked.

I just looked at him worriedly. "It's posted so let's give it a little bit." He told me as I nodded my head.

The four of us hung out for most of the day. We had a movie marathon and ate our food together.

After a couple hours we decided to check Twitter and the comments.

People were apologizing to me. They were saying how bad they felt for judging everything.

A lot of people are judging Hayden. It sucks for him, but he should've answered my calls.

I spent most of the day at the boys house, watching movies with everyone.

Maya and I left around eight. I was just so exhausted, I wanted to lay down in my own bed.

Maya and I went our separate ways though, she went inside her room while I went into mine.

As I got ready for bed, my phone dinged signaling a text. My heart dropped when I read it.

Hayden: can I talk to you tomorrow?
