S.n's P.o.v

On April 29th 2018, i turned 17, and like my mom used to say, "You don't need to wait till you are 18 to be independent, if you want to go chase your dreams, go do it now" and well, that's what  i chose, my biggest dream has always been to move temporarily to Canada, perhaps an exchange for the remainig of this years or so, i just want to experience a new culture, and have a new experience after all that stress i experienced here in Brazil

And actually, my flight is already scheduled to may the 3rd, tomorrow, i am getting my bags ready, but also, getting myself ready

After i spent hours packing up, i close the last suitcase, letting out a sigh

I called the airline and made sure everything was okay in advance, but my brain dosen't seem to be processing any of this

I still don't believe it

I'm actually making one of my biggest dreams come true!

I am actually going to Canada!

I go to bed, i am just anxious and excited, im just wishing everything will go as planned for next day

I sleep like a rock, i wake up the next day, already feeling the thrill almost take over me

Today is the big day

I get my bags and run to the living room, i'm not late or anything, i'm just very hyperactive and acting on it, i go to the kitchen and grab something to eat, as airport food is so expensive i could sell my liver to buy a bag of chips

I say good morning to my mom and dad, and run to my 13 year old brothers room

— EDUARDO! — i shout his name

He jumps out of his bed, he was still asleep, as usual

— You're going now? — he says, in a sleepy way

— Not now, but soon I'll have to, but i'll come back, huh!

— Don't forget to talk to me on whatsapp, you idiot!

— I will! — i kiss his forehead

I stay at home for a while, we even go out to eat one last time before the trip, my mom is always giving me the best advice she can, while also being very supportive and- physical, she have always hugged me alot

My dad gives me more attention than most days, whitch im happy about

After all that, they drive me to the airport, i even stopped at my friend Sam's house to say bye to her, she is also going in an exchange to Spain in a couple of months, we agreed on making plans together so we would at least miss the last year of school together, so we can cach up next year and graduate

I arrive at the airport at least 3 hours in advance, and when the time i finally have to say goodbye comes, i hug everyone with a smile on my face, no the most genuine smile, but a smile

I finally say bye to them, sad that i will be so far from them,  but happy i will finally reach my dream after so much effort to achieve

I try to ignore any compulsive thought about the flight and walk to the check in

I validate my ticket, and head inside, reading a flyer about Canada, i already know everything im reading about, but the thrill makes me want to know more and more about everything

Txl is a fanfic i started writing in May 26th of 2018, and i finished writing it on that exact day on 2022, it took me and my friends much effort and i'm really pround of this, keep in mind i'm not here to receive hate from people who don't like my content anyways

This is an oc x canon story, even though i think of it as much more than just that, but if that sort of content isn't for you, then i do not advice you to keep reading, and if you do so, please have an open mind

Reminders: this isn't an x reader, don't bug me. S.n's brother isn't Eduardo the neighbor. Some charater might act slightly different from legacy. I tried to change some small things from the characters so that i could disassociate them from their actual real life counterparts
