I'm in the kitchen making new year's dinner, it's very late for me to be doing everything now, but the intention is what counts

— Hey Edd! what are you doing? — Matt says

— Uh- well, i'm seasoning the meat now

— Cool! can i help?

— Sure! uh- you can cut the tomatoes to make a salad!

— Alright! — Matt makes an ok with his fingers

— Hah, right silly, the tomatoes are on the fridge

Matt walks to the fridge, getting the tomatoes and coming back to the countertop, starting to chop them up

— So...Edd

— Hm?

— Do you think Tom's going to come out of his room to spend new years eve with us? 

— I understand if he doesnt want to...

— Yeah...he's feeling very bad lately...

— Yeah, i'm kinda sorry for him... — I say

— Same...even though i think it's not cool to feel sorry for people...hey!

— What?

— I have an idea!

— Really? what idea?

— What do you think about bringing him dinner? and some of the desserts? maybe even write him a "happy new year" letter? i think that would cheer him up a bit, don't you think?

— Thats an awesome idea! let's do th-

— What happened?

— I cut my finger! — Matt says holding and shaking his finger up

— Ah! i'll get you band-aid! — I walk to the cabinet next to the fridge and get some band aids, putting one on Matt's finger

— Thanks! and oh, i turned off the oven, the meat looks ready

— Oh, alright, and thank you for helping me in the kitchen, Matt! — I wash my hands

— No problem! — Matt does an ok with his fingers again

— Hehe, i think you're watching too much of those "tik tok" videos, Matt

— But they are cool!

— Hehe, well, let's check if the desserts are already done with — I dry my hands out and open the fridge — Hmmm, yeah, i think they are

— Everything looks delicius! you're a great cook, Edd!

— Hah, thanks — I check my phone — Well, There's an hour and a few minutes left until new years
