🍒 A day for conversation

Tom's P.o.v

I wake up, going to brush my teeth in my bathroom

I hear some knocking on my room's door

— Tom? — I hear Edd say

— I'm coming — I stand up and go get the door

I open it and see Matt and Edd, Edd is holding a tray with pancakes, and orange juice, there is three notes on the tray

Edd gives me a gentle smile

— We made you breakfast in order to make you happier and cheer you up a bit — He says

— Edd...y-you didn't have to...

— But i wanna cheer you up, you're my best friend! — Edd hold the tray in one hand, giving me a gentle shoulder punch with the other one — Come on, man...you deserve it!

I get the tray from his hand and we all walk to my bed, sitting side by side

— When you're done eating, read our notes — Edd points to them, smiling gently again, looking at me

I take my time eating, while Edd, Matt and i talk

— Did you sleep weel? — Edd asks me

— Yeah, i would say

— Did you miss her? — Matt asks

— Yeah...i...i did...

— Don't worry, she'll be back next year! — Matt pats my head

— Yeah...i hope so...

— So...read the notes!

I get one of them and open it

"Tom, i know you're sad, and miss her a lot, but be strong, ok? i admire you, i'm not good with words, sorry :(
- Matt "

I smile at Matt and he gives me a thumbs up while smiling back at me, closing his eyes

I get another one of the notes

"Hey, i know it's difficult, but remember you'll get through this, crying is normal and you shouldn't be ashamed of it, even after all that,  you're strong Tom, not only physically but mentally, you're strong to have continued for years and years after suffering and not telling anyone about it, crying in silence, not having anyone by your side, you may not agree, but i think you're strong for not giving up, even when you were alone 89% of the times, and you're proving to be stronger than ever now by letting us help, we all think you're fucking awesome and it's not some past stuff that's gonna make us change that

I look at him, he's smiling, looking back at me

I smile and hug him tightly

— Get well, ok...?

I chuckle

I notice there's one more note
