S.n's P.o.v

I arrive at the market, after looking for the nearest of the area on google, and surprisingly, there are at leat three grocery stores nearby, which is great

I think about what i should buy, i can't exagerate, i don't have a job here yet, no job, no money

I get some simple stuff, and head to the fridge to get a bottle of coca-cola

The minute i put my hand in the bottle, someone puts their hand at the same time, not in the same bottle, just a nearby one

I look to my side and see a tall guy, apparently my age, he has short dark brown hair, and is wearing a green hoodie and beige cargo pants

— I see you like cola too! — He says with a very strong british accent, which i didn't expect

— Haha, yep, Cola is my fravorite soda — i respond

— Mine as well! I like your shirt by the way

I look down to see what shirt im wearing

It's my yellow shirt with a picture of a sunflower on it

– Oh! thanks! i love sunflowers!

— What's your name by the way? – He says as he puts his cola to his shopping cart

— I'm S.n!

— Like the letters? cool! i never heard it before, i'm Edward, call me Edd though!

— Well, hello sir Edd — i say on a jokingly formal tone

— Hello, miss S.n! — He goes for a handshake matching my energy

I shake his hand and we both laugh a bit

We go our separate ways, i go to the cashier, paying with the cash i converted from Brazilian reais to Canadian dollars

I get the bags and walk my way to my new house, putting everything i bought in my fridge, and lay in bed kinda tired

I take my book off of my suitcase and start reading it again

I read half of it on the plane, it's about a couple that help each other with their problems, i thought it would be boring and cliche at the beginning, but i'm actually enjoying it

i read
