Ever since Clarence texted that she won't be home tonight both me and dad have been worried. She only said that she was going to the grocery store–did she not actually mean that and had something else to do that's important or unable to talk about? Maybe so, but the bad feeling that I told dad made him stressed, I can tell. Since that man from that day came into our lives, we've been experiencing hell. I always wondered what he wanted, I thought that he was only gonna kill me that day–turns out that he had other plans with us. I believe that he is gonna torture us and kill us slowly just like any other maniacs who likes to watch their victims suffer.
But if I'm gonna be honest, I believe that the man from that day at the amusement park is the one who has been stalking us and leaving notes. I said that I didn't read the note that I found in my room but I actually did read it. I didn't say that though–I didn't want to worry them or have them have the need to reassure me that everything is gonna be okay. But everything isn't gonna be okay not until that man is either dead or if he rots in prison.
Of course, I never thought catching him would be easy since he mostly lived as a shadow ever since I last saw him. Other than the notes, he pretty much doesn't exist anymore. He has been a bit passive since his killings have been on the news.

It has now been a couple of hours and was getting much more late. The sun was setting and Clarence still hasn't come back home. Maybe I should have dad report her missing or go look for her. At this point, I'm not sure what would be best to do. While I pondered, I soon heard a noise coming from the window. Small pebbles were being thrown at the window. I went towards the window to see what was happening. A man–who had a large build and was wearing black clothes along with a black hat and mask–was throwing pebbles at my window. After he saw me, he took out a note from one of his pockets. He then went out of my sight, from what I can tell he was going to the front door. There was a knock on the front door. The same man walked away, looking at me for a split second.
I went out of my room and down the stairs, seeing dad reading the note. His eyes were wide, his eyebrows furrowed, lips quivering. I walked closer to him to get at least a good look of the note. Before I could finish at least a sentence, he folded the note and tossed it onto the counter. He put his shoes on and ran out of the front door.
I soon ran after him but he was already gone. I went to the end of the driveway to see if he was still nearby but unfortunately he wasn't found anywhere. When I went back inside of the house, I started to read the note.

Dear Mr. Francis,
Have you ever wondered how it is like to go missing? To be kidnapped from a stranger and not having a clue about why they abducted you. I also wonder how it is like. But to stay on topic, I would like to inform you that your beloved wife has left town to meet her great-grandmother. I heard that she's close to death, but if you know what I mean then you should come quick. The quickest transportation is located at your worst nightmare.

Sincerely,
The man with melted skin

Located at your worst nightmare, what does that mean?—the amusement park? Why there out of other places anyway? I don't really think it's the best idea to go there especially when it's quite late.
Dad has already left—but maybe it's a trap. Maybe the man did that so he could get dad away from home. Then what? While I pondered—the floorboards started to creak almost like someone was walking around the house, especially when the creaking only got louder. I turned around and everything turned dark.
