After running for a while I lost my footing and ended up injuring my knees. I winced, rolling up my pants over my knees. I cursed underneath my breath. I soon got up from the ground and kept running even when I felt like dying. I can't stop running, not when Clarence can be in danger. I will keep running even if it means for me to collapse from exhaustion.
Not even five minutes passed and I already stopped running. I walked for the rest of the way there. My legs grew weak, my chest felt heavy. I cursed underneath my breath, not being able to keep going. But I got this far so why not keep going, I told myself. When I was about to turn back I saw a vehicle that was quite familiar. I went towards the car and looked at the license plate, it was the same as the car that Clarence took.
I looked inside the car through the window. I grabbed the car door handle and it opened. I got inside of the car and looked around a bit, from what I can tell the car had been running for a while. There wasn't much gasoline in the car. I took the car keys out and sat inside the car for a couple minutes.
I rubbed my eyes and started the car. I drove to the amusement park and when I got there, there was another vehicle. I parked the car and turned the engine off. I pretty much sat there for a little while. The vehicle that was in the parking lot was a police car. I can't really tell if there was anyone inside of the car since it was on the other side of the parking lot.
I was a bit hesitant to get out of the car but I pulled myself together and got out of the car. I walked towards the other vehicle just in case. Once I was in the vehicle, there was nobody in the front seat. I looked at the back seat and there was a dead police officer. I covered my mouth, feeling like I was about to puke.
When I was walking away from the vehicle another cop car pulled into the parking lot. I went back to the vehicle and hid, for some reason I was a bit startled and had no clue what they may think if I just wandered around and about. The officer was getting out of the car and it turned out to be Officer Robert—the officer from that day.
I sighed in relief, feeling more relaxed now that the officer is someone that I know, or somewhat know. When I was getting out of my spot and started to walk towards him—I got pulled back, my mouth was covered by a cloth. Soon, my vision started to become blurry and then black.
