One last look

I was hidden behind a rock, eyeing who was all there. "Charlie can you read me?". I ask through the earpiece that Jake let me borrow. "Send your traffic". He asked. "The back is clear, I got a way in, what do you want me to do?". I ask. "I got Lo'ak, Tuk and Reya on the top deck of the ship...your father is there". Jake said. "What do you want me to do?". I asked again. "Get in through the back, destroy anything that seems valuable, kill anyone that gets in your way to the kids, read me". He seethed. "Roger that". I say, with a revengeful smile.
I stop the Ilu at a ladder that was at the back and climb up it quietly. I scoop the area and see two soldiers guarding the lower deck of the ship. I quickly take them out, using my gun with the suppressor,that way it won't alert anyone else close by. I sneak through the door and make it pass the other guards. "Where the fuck is this door". I seethe quietly. And just as I say that someone opens a door in-front of me that I didn't even notice. They stare at me for a second and before he could react I shoot him straight through the head. I quickly catch his body and drag it to a hidden spot. Written on the door that he previously came out of read top deck. I rush through the door. My machine gun now in my hand as I stalked the steps carefully. I lost my balance as the ship suddenly rocked furiously. I gained my balance back and opened the door. What the hell. A tulkun had jumped onto the ship and rocked the boat furiously. Bullets we're flying everywhere. I held up my gun and killed a few guys shooting at the tulkun. "Neteyam!". I heard the small familiar voice of tuk called out. I quickly followed the sound, taking a few guys out on my way. I saw one guy try sneak up on Neteyam. I pull out my pistol from my other shoulder and shoot him before he can do anything. They turn to see the guy fall flat and then they see me standing behind him gun held high. They held a happy face until they saw my angry one. Neteyam was the first to speak up. "Oh shit". He says trying to avoid my eyes. "I tell you to go speak to your brother, not to get into trouble, what do you do, you do the complete opposite and you even brought tuk". I scold him. "I did get my brother out of trouble, look he's completely fine". Neteyam says, holding his brother close to him. I look at him with "are you serious". "Ma Nora, we are fine". I take a deep breath to calm myself. "Reya, take tuk, get the hell outta of here, Neteyam and Lo'ak you are to go find your father". I ordered but Lo'ak had cut in. "No, spiders in there we have to go get him". He says. I roll my eyes. "Oh my gosh now I have to save my brother, you two follow me do you understand". I tell them. They nod their head frantically. "Reya go now, take tuk". I tell them. They rush off and the three of us take of, deeper into the ship, Lo'ak had paused and took a gun from one of the guys knocked. We stalk up onto the cage of the roof and crawl quietly across. "Make sure your mask is on tight". We saw below us that spider was being taken by three guys. On me. I signed to them. Three...two...one. We drop down, each taking a guy out. Spider stood there astonished. "What is she doing here?". Spider asked Ponting to me. "Well it's good to see you too baby brother, we came here to save your ass and now it's your turn, we need a way out", I tell him. "Follow me". He says. We were all following spider, taking a few guys out that got in the way. A guy had popped out of nowhere and Lo'ak panicked, shooting the gun mindlessly. "Well that's one way to do it". I say. "Give me that". Neteyam snatches the gun off him. "We can jump off there". Spider says pointing to a opening in the ship that lead to sea. Bullets suddenly started to fire rapidly at us. We hid behind the corner. "What do we do". Lo'ak asked in a panic. I pull out my gun and start firing back along with Neteyam. "All of yous jump I'll cover you". I say. "No way I'm not leaving you". Neteyam says. "I'll be right behind you". I reassure him. Once the firing paused for a second they took the chance and jumped off. I followed along until I felt something pierce through the left side of chest. I instantly drop to my knees and move to the side to get cover. I try keep myself from making any noise.
Go. I signed painfully to them. "No". Neteyam called out catching the soldiers attention. I muster all the energy I had left and quickly caught there attention before they could fire at them. "Go!". I yelled to them.
(Neteyam POV)
"Neteyam we have to go". Lo'ak says trying to pry his brother away from the scene. "Im not leaving my future mate". I seethe. "We don't have time brother, she's a warrior Okay she'll make it". Lo'ak says. I shake my head at my brother, tears welling up in my eyes. "I know her better than anyone, she'll get out of there". Tsireya comforts. I took one last look at Nora trying her best to fight them off. "She'll be okay". Spider says. I ponder about it. I call for my Ilu and left without warning. I went under and then told my Ilu to jump. I jumped off it and grabbed ahold of the bar of where we previously just jumped off. I threw one of the guys off and Nora killed the other. Once we realised they were all down we turned to each other. "Neteyam?, what are you doing here". She said breathless. She tried to step towards me but I saw her body lose balance. I quickly caught her in my arms. "Ma Nora, what's wrong?". I asked concerned. She lift up her hand that was clutching onto the left side of her chest. "Oh no". Fear shot through me. "I'm alright". She choked out. "Just need, bring him". She continues, she pointed to one of the bodies not far. I grab the closet one and drag him across. "What do you need Ma Nora, what is it your looking for?". I ask her gently, placing my hand on her cheek to keep her awake, "Bandage, in the vest". She rasp. I quickly search through it, my eyes lighting up at the white fabric. She noticed my lost look. "Just go around ,above my shoulder and cross over...that's it and then underneath and around my chest". I followed her instructions closely. Once I was finished I place my hand on her face. "You need to stay awake for me". I soothe gently. "Reya, I saw Reya, where's tuk and Kiri?". She asked me.
"They got caught again". I tell her. She groaned. "What are you doing?". I asked in a panic as she tried to stand.
Nora POV
"We need to go get them, they'll be by the moon pool, its more secure than anywhere else on this boat". I tell him. "You are not going anywhere, you stay here I'll go". He tries to order me. "Do you know where it is?". I ask him, he gave me a confused look. "Do you even know what a moon pool is?". I ask. He gives me the same look. "Exactly, so I am going". I say, fully standing up, he makes sure that I can stand properly before letting me go. "Why do you have to be so stubborn?". He asked me. "Because you love it". I tell him, giving him a quick peck on the cheek. Neteyam shook his head and smiled. "Stay close okay". I tell him. I was more worried now since I was on the verge of dying and anything could happen to him. "I'll never your side, again". He says. "We're gonna get out of here okay". I reassure. We rest our heads against in each other, holding each other by the back of the neck. "Take this". I pass him the machine gun. "Watch my six okay?". He nods and we move silently through the ship. Every now and then I would shoot a couple guys with the suppressor. I tried to keep the machine gun as a backup, can't afford anyone to hear. "Okay I just need a break. I say, coming to a stop. I lean against the wall and slide down. "You need to stay here ma Nora, you can't keep going like this". Neteyam says cupping my face In his hands and stroking my hair lovingly. "I'm okay". I rasp out. "No your not, I know I said I wouldn't leave you but you can't go on". He says. "Just tell me where to go, I'll find my way". He says. "And then I'll come back to get you". He continues. "I can't let you go on your own, it's dangerous". I tell him. "I'll be alright, okay I promise". He says. I nod my head reluctantly and point which way to go. Before he could run off I grab his wrist and stop him. "What's wrong?". He asked. I just wanted to look at him one last time, I'm scared that this might be the last time. "Nothing my love, go, go get Kiri and tuk". I usher him off quickly. I laid there breathless. I groan in pain when I try to have a look. The wound was just pouring, even worse there's a exit wound. "Maybe if I just close my eyes a little bit". I mutter to myself.
