Lo'ak had told us the story of him meeting payakan, the metkayina kids said he was killer, I didn't believe that, I know what a killer is, a killer doesn't leave anyone alive no matter how long it's been. If he was a killer he might as well have been an Akula. Lo'ak had taken off in a rage, when he heard his friends protest against story. Tsireya went after him. I sent her a small wink when she did. I decided to go for a walk as well. "Neteyam come on". I say happily, walking away from the others. The others looked at him, wondering what was going on. "Uh, I'll see you guys later". He quickly gets up and rushes off to follow the girl. "Why do you look so embarrassed?". I asked, lightly laughing at his flustered face. "Just, was unexpected". He says. I spotted Jake in the distance, he looked at me curiously and then sent a small glare. Neteyam caught on to who I was looking at. "I believe I have to leave you here, that was a really short walk but I'm glad I got to spend little time with you". I say to him. He smiles and does a curt nod. "Can we meet?". He asked. "Where?". I replied a bit too quickly. He chuckled. "The pond". He simply says and I understand. "After dinner?". I ask. "After dinner". He repeats. We gaze at each other for awhile until his dad got fed up. "Neteyam!". He called loudly to his son. Neteyam groaned. "I'll se you then". He says. I nod and turn away, walking back to my marui. I prepared dinner for myself. Suddenly the feeling of being alone starting to take a toll on me. I look around at the empty marui, the only thing it had was a table for food, cooker, hammock and woven mat if I wished to lay on the floor and a small shelf that held my army clothes and spare boots that I had left here awhile ago. I also had a box of weapons stored away. There was a little cavern under the dock, where I stored the box. But other than that, it was a quiet empty marui, things placed around for only one person. I suddenly lost my appetite and pushed the food away. I decided to go to the pond early, wanting to clear my head. I melted at the sounds of small critters and the wind rustling the leaves quietly. "Are you alright?". Neteyam snuck up on me, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Yeah, just got kinda lonely at home, so I decided to come here early". I tell him. I feel him sit behind me, tucking me in between his legs. I giggle when he slightly lifts me in the air so effortlessly. I was small compared to him. He hooked his arms lazily around his knees. "I don't like it when you're alone". He admits. "I don't like being alone either". I admit. He cradled me closer to his chest. I leaned my head in the crook of his neck. He kissed my head lightly. "What if you weren't alone?". He says. I already know what he's thinking. "Your parents will never let you, and I won't either, not yet anyways". I tell him. "Why?". He asked a bit hurt. "Because I want you to stay with your family, trust me, enjoy it while you're all still together". I lectured. His eyes lit up more at her words, she was always so wise in a way, and even though she was this big hit soldier, In her heart she was kind and generous. But he also felt as if she was saying that to him because she didn't want him to lose the time he has with the family the way she lost hers. The amount of time being with her family was too short, too short she can hardly remember anything great or loving. Yet when it came to his, she loved them and cared for them dearly and that made Neteyam love her even more. I shrieked when I felt myself being lifted into the air. Neteyam had took us into the small pond, the water lighting up with each movement. The earth on the bottom lit up and you could see the small fish swimming around undisturbed. I look at in amazement. I giggle at its beauty. Neteyam brought the girl closer to him, standing chest to chest with each other. She smiled at him, her beautiful smile looking even more gorgeous in the illuminating light. "I see you". Neteyam spoke. "I see you". I replied without hesitation. And finally, I felt his lips on mine, I wrapped my arms around his neck and he pulled me closer by my waist. Making us flushed together so perfectly. Our lips moved in sync. "Please be mine". He asked once we pulled away. "Of course, Ma Neteyam". I say. He crashes his lips on mine again. This time with more passion. After our little make out sesh and perfect moment. We decided it was time to head back. "I will walk you home". He says. I just nod my head, not fighting it anymore. We walked hand in hand to my marui, not caring about anyone being around since they would be asleep. "Are you coming tomorrow?". He asked. "Yeah Tsireya invited me". I tell him. "You can ride with me". I understood what he meant. "I am very capable-". I was cut off by a kiss. "You will ride with me". He says. Not asking, saying. "Fine". I complied. We continued our walk and I looked into my empty marui. I look back at him and see the sad knowing look on his face. "Don't give me that look, I will be fine". I assure him. He pulled me closer by my waist and rest his forehead on mine. "You just come get me when you need or if you feel too lonely here, okay?". He says. I nod my head, enjoying the comfortableness of being in his arms. "Sleep well Ma Nora". He whispers still staying in the same spot. "You too Ma Neteyam". We stay there for a little while longer, not wanting to separate. I pull away from him slowly. "You better get going, golden boy". I tell him. He nods hesitantly. Giving me another peck before sneaking his way back home. I slept more peacefully that night. Lonely but peaceful.
