Thank you for reading till the end. Thank you for loving and being annoyed with these characters. It was (occasionally) a fun story to write. For those of you who are pissed off about the ending, I'm sorry to disappoint! However, I do believe I couldn't come up with a better ending than this. It was in sync with the tone of the story and the tone of the story is what I love the most about Poetic Sensibility.
Is this the end for Romi, Samay, Rishi, Kiara, Sarah, Kabir and Keshav? For now, it is. I am working on another (very different) story (Nephilim, available on my profile). But maybe, when I'm 50 and gray and an Eternal Bachelor, I might think about returning to these guys and to poetry.
Aaah! Poetry! I hope at least some of you have been successfully converted into poetry lovers. Remember, poetry has no ceiling. It is infinite and... well, infinite. There is no end to it and there is no way it can be misunderstood because a poem can never fully be understood. That's what made these characters come back to it. To understand and comprehend something that is incomprehensible.
Some might be disappointed that there was no Samay POV towards the end. For you guys, Sam is happy. He's working on the project with Sarah and Kabir and it's progressing well. He's pleased about Romi too. He's experiencing new things, which he is obviously pissed off about, considering he doesn't like changes, but hey, life overrules his decisions!
As for Kiara, I'd like to believe, with Rishi and Keshav's help, she goes on to publish her works to become, if not outrageously famous, at least a mildly known artist. Let's just say she's growing. She's doing incredible things. She's spreading her wings slowly but steadily.
Everyone's darling Kabir is the happiest he can be. He's got Sarah, with her sense of humour and love of life, and he gets to do what he loves most. What more do you want for him?
So once again, thank you. You made this special (and well, sometimes annoying considering the threats I received unless I published the next part).
Happy Poetry!
