"So what's our next stop," Lucy asks, as we stand around the map on the table, I trace my hand across the lands that were drawn on to the large parchment stopping at a small Island, "right here, now this stop is more of a small break for a couple of days, but it's also a supple run," I look up sort of asking if it was okay, "alright when will we reach it?" as soon as Edmund says this the door opens "your majesty we are just about to dock at the Island's ports," one of the crew says, I give him a nod and he hurry's back up to the deck, I then turn to Edmund "right now," just by Edmunds expression he was not impressed by the comment, I hear Lucy laugh as I grab my jacket and walk to the door then I turn around to face them "come on then," I say before I run up to the top deck.
As we dock I could hear the loud chatter of people, the bangs of crates being put down or dropped, the sound of birds squawking and the water hitting the side of the ship, all of your normal port sounds. I step of the ship followed closely by Edmund, Lucy, Eustace and some of the crew as well as the captain. As soon as we step foot off the the dawn treader we are stopped "King Caspian welcome to the Lusena Reef, I am Lord Terrian Araro, I am the leader of the Lusena people, Your majesty," Terrian says as he bows "It's very nice to meet you Lord Terrian, and please don't worry about formalities," I say giving him a pat on the shoulder "of course, is there anything you need," he asks "a warm place to stay for a couple of days as well as some supplies for our journey if that's possible," he nods and tell us to follow him.
We walk though the town, the whole time the streets were lined with people cheering, which wasn't unusual considering that, myself and Edmund are kings and Lucy is a queen, as we continue though the town square I feel a strange pull in my heart like a sirens song that would lead a sailor to their death, I stop walking and look over to where I feel the pull coming from, which happened to be a statue of a man, a beautiful at that, but it looked far to real to be just a statue, I study the statue for what felt like an eternity until I felt a hand on my shoulder "you alright Caspian," I look over my shoulder to see Edmund "Yeah, I'm okay, come on," I say as I start walking again to catch up with the rest of the group.
Lord Terrian had invited Lucy, Edmund, Eustace as well as Myself for diner and we all gladly accepted, we sat down around a table that was filled with all kinds of food from the rarest fruits to the best meats gold could buy, everyone was talking sharing stories of their own adventures but my mind was on the Statue that I saw in the town centre, there's just something about it, something that calls me to it, "King Caspian you seem to be lost in thought is everything alright?" Terrian asks, maybe I can ask him about it "Lord Terrian, when we were walking though the town centre I noticed a statue of a man I was wondering who it was?" Lord Terrian's face softened into a solemn expectation "well the statue isn't a statue," he explains "what do you mean?" I ask rising my eyebrow "It's my son, Y/n, about 3 years ago a boy came to town his name was Cyran Trabalar and my son befriended him but one evening he came back and instead of his normal e/c eyes, they were as red as blood, I pulled him aside before his mother could see him and asked him what happened to his eyes but he ignored my question and ask me if he could marry Cyran, I said no because I knew Cyran had used some kind of love magic or love potion on my son and I knew Cyran Trabalar wanted nothing but power and my son could provide that power," Lord Terrian said clearly trying to keep his anger inside "what power?" Eustace asked "Y/n had the power control fire but not only that he could turn into a 64.04 foot long dragon," my eyes widen, not once have I every heard of anyone who could control fire let a lone turn into a dragon "but it still doesn't explain why he's been turned to stone," Lucy seems to be the only one not fazed "well after I said no, Cyran burst though the door, but Cyran didn't look like a young boy anymore but now he look like he was made completely of fire and ice ,when I saw him in that from I immediately recognised him, he was the white witches brother, I realised that he was going to use my son to take over Narnia in the name of his sister, but I also knew that he wanted something else, he then began to speak 'It turns out that I no longer have any need for your son, but your great ,great ,great ,great Grand father was a traitor of my sister, and he really needs to pay for it but seeing as he's not here anymore, I think you should suffer for his crimes and I know the perfect way to make it so much more painful,' he then walked over to Y/n put his hand out to Y/n and whispered a few words before Y/n's eyes turned backed to their normal e/c, Cyran then turned to me hand still out stretched to Y/n 'true love's touch that's how to break this cruse but I know that your dear son's true love will not come for a long time to come,' Then whispered a more word then there was a flash of light, and when the light faded Cyran was no where in sight but that didn't mater, what mattered was that a stone Statue was stood where my son was once stood," Lord Terrian trailed of clearly not able to say anymore without breaking down, I went though what Lord Terrian had said, and one line was caught up in my thoughts 'true love's touch that's how you break this cruse' I then remembered what had happened earlier to day, about the pull I felt in my heart towards the boy encased in stone, I didn't want to get Lord Terrian's hopes up, but I felt like it was worth a shot, I took a deep breath and look towards Terrian "Lord Terrian when we were in the town squire I felt a pull in my heart like a sirens song that would lead a sailor to their death," once I said this his eyes widened but before he could say anything a guard swing the door open "My Lord the stone around your son has cracked," the guard said practically panting like a dog, Lord Terrian jumped up "we'll be right there," the guard nods and runs back to the town square "Your majesty, I know this is a lot to ask but would you be willing to try and break the curse?" Lord Terrian ask with hope in his eyes "I'll try but I can't promise anything," Lord Terrian nod and leads us all to wards the town square.
When we reach the statue or should I say Y/n, I noticed that nearly the whole town was gathered in the town centre "Caspian are you sure about this?" Edmund asks "I mean it's worth a shot, and if it work then it's what Aslan intended for me," all Edmund did was nod. After Lord Terrian finished his speeches he ushers me up to the podium that the stone Y/n was stood on, I took a better look at Y/n I don't know if it was just because he was encased in stone but he look so perfect to me, I took a deep breath and placed my hand on Y/n's outstretched hand then suddenly a bright blinding light (kind of like Alina Starkov's powers from Shadow and bone) once the light disappeared I was face to face with one of the most beautiful men I've every seen staring back at me with sparkling e/c eyes, before either of us could say anything the crowd of towns people erupted in to cheers and Lord Terrian ran over and pulled Y/n into a hug "Y/n my boy your alive," Lord Terrian says though sobs, minute or two later the two separate and Lord Terrian explains everything to him, tears fall down his face as Y/n starts apologising for ever trusting Cyran after his father clams him down Terrian turns to me "Y/n this is King Caspian of Narnia, he is who broke the curse he's your one true love," Y/n eyes widen and he bows "please don't worry about formality's epically since we're each others one true love," I say, he laugh "of course Your majesty," he says standing up "please call me Caspian," he nods "well you can call me Y/n."
After meeting Y/n I extended our stay in Lusena Reef by a week so I could get to know Y/n more, and a couple of days before we had to leave Y/n ask to come with us and I agreed. We had been at sea for a few months and the more time I spent with Y/n the more I fell for him. I lent against the side of the ship, it was the middle of the night I couldn't sleep and I was so lost in though that I didn't hear someone come up beside me "beautiful night isn't it," I jump a little and look at the person, it was Y/n "yeah it is," I says giving him a smile then turning back to look out on to the vested sea "you alright?" Y/n ask as he uses his forearms to lean on the ship's side "I just couldn't sleep, what about you," I ask " same," we just stood there in a confutable silence, I turn my head to look at Y/n and by Aslan he looked beautiful, he looked like he was glowing in the moonlight "do I have something on my face?" Y/n laughs a little, oh his laugh was music to my ears, "Y/n may I ask you something?" he nods as he turn so he's facing me, "I know we only know each other for a few months and I don't know if it's just the fact that we are each others true love and it's Aslan's will for us to end up together, but you have stolen my heart, so will you allow me the honour of courting you," I look to the floor scared of what his reaction would be, then I felt a pair of hands take mine "yes a hundred times yes," I look up t see Y/n with a bright smile, I couldn't hold it anymore so I take my hand placing it on his cheek and my eyes look down to his lips then back up to his eyes "may I," I ask just above a whisper "you may," then we lean in, as our lips meet every thing just felt right in the world that was until we heard a chough come from behind us, we quickly separate and see Edmund standing there with his arms crossed "as sweet as this is we have a supplies stop tomorrow and I don't think the captain would like you two condoling on the deck," he says rolling his eyes, Y/n covers his face with is hand as I just laugh which makes Edmund roll his eye again and he walks back to his bed, I watch Edmund walk of and feel a hand on my arm, I look next to my to see Y/n "can I stay with you tonight?" he asks, I grab his hand and smile "of course," he gives me a smile in return as I lead him to my sleeping quatres.
A/n: I hope you enjoyed, sorry if Caspian seamed a little out of character at because when I started this shadow and bone season 2 came out that day(I'm also reading Siege and storm) and to me he seems a little bit like Sturmhond at the start of this:)
