Y/n stirred awake feeling something heavy against his chest, he looks down to see just a fluff of light brown hair. But Y/n knew who the light brown fluff belonged to the prettiest man in the whole of Ketterdam and the love of his live, Wylan Van Eck. Now if you told Y/n about a year and a half ago that he would be completely and utterly in love to the point that he abandon he place in the second army he would have laughed in your face, well he didn't exactly abandon his place in the second army, it was more like him and his sister Nina were taken by drüskelle from Fjerda where they met Matthias, then as they where being taken by boat to where ever they where being taken to the boat went down, when Y/n saw his sister trying to swim to shore with an unconscious Matthias Y/n told his sister to just leave him but instead she told him to shut up and help her which he did tho he wasn't very happy about it, they where close to the shore when Matthias woke up tried push them both away but failed after a lot of bickering they finely made it to shore, bickered some more, all 3 of them ended up traveling together and instead of leaving Matthias to go back to his home, but Nina didn't want to leave him because she fell in love with him and Y/n let him stay because he want Nina to be happy even tho he was drüskelle, they then were found by some other Grisha, where Nina then told them Matthias was a slave trader, when she did this Y/n nearly slapped her because he had grown attached to Matthias in his own way but he didn't, Nina then begged them to take her and Y/n to Ketterdam which they did while they took Matthias of to Hellgate, once we arrived in Ketterdam Nina and him had an argument over that she had lied about Matthias being a slave trader and that she dragged us all the way to Ketterdam instead of staying with the Grisha that found us, which ended in him storming of.
Y/n walked around the streets of Ketterdam trying to keep his valuables close, it had been what a week since he had seen Nina and he was concerned to say the least he wished he made Nina stay by Zoya as he tried to trick the men that handed them over to the drüskelle, he promised himself he would look after her, keep her safe, out of harms way but no he had to push her away. Y/n rounded a corner where he was nearly shot and pulled in to an allay by a tall Zemeni boy "hey there, so we're kind of in the middle of a shot out so just stay here for a second, alright love," Y/n didn't have much choice because the only way out was the way he was dragged in, Y/n just noticed another man with a cane stood on the opposite wall also shooting who ever was shotting at them from the other side of the street, Y/n then heard heavy breathing from behind of him, he turned his head to see a short Suli girl leaning on the wall holding her side, Y/n could see blood seeping out of a wound she must have, he look back at the two men who seem to have everything covered he took a deep breath and moved quickly next to the girl, he was a Heartrender not a healer but he could at least try, "my name's Y/n, I'm a Heartrender, I can try heal you, if you'd let me," the girl looked at him then looked down at her bleeding side "I get if you don't trust me but please let me help you," before the girl could say anything one of the two men pushed Y/n out of the way and helped the girl down to the floor "your going to be okay we'll get you back to the slat and patch you up," Y/n felt a presence beside him "you said you where a Heartrender right?" Y/n turned to look at the man beside him, the mans presence was intimidating and made Y/n fell small, "I am," the man walked over two the other two looking down at the Zemeni boy "Jesper move so he can heal Inej," the boy named Jesper looked up in disbelief "Kaz we've just met him-" Jesper quickly shut up when Kaz glared at him "go on heal her," Kaz said motioning to Inej with his cane, Y/n nodded as he dropped down next to Inej and moved her hand of her wound "I need to lift your shirt up a little, is that all right," all Inej could do was nod as he lifted her shirt up to just under he chest as the wound was quite large "this may tingle a little," he says rising his hands above the bleeding wound. Y/n focused on Inej's wound trying to stich her skin back together, the blood starting to stop seeping out of the gash as Inej's skin stitched back together.
